It's a cute little forgotten film. I saw it on TV back in the 1980s. Something about the film stuck with me. I was looking up Mia Farrow on IMDB for something else, and I thought what was the name of the film where she wears a hat that looks like a cabbage and she's being followed by a detective because her hunky Brit husband is concerned about her wandering off all the time. And that's how I learned that Michael Jayston played the husband. I had recently seen him at a Doctor Who Convention, and I did bring up the 1973 Jane Eyre to him at that time. I'd wish I'd known he was in this film as well because I would some questions as well on this film. Sadly I never will. Sigh.
He would have been delighted, he always loved when fans remembered his performances. This film is extra special not just because of the great cast and the unforgettable musical score, but it also has hidden symbols in it... the maze, the labyrinth of the streets of London like a hidden menace underneath a peaceful atmosphere, the Orpheus and Eurydice myth mentioned in the end, even the idea of a guardian angel...
There is just something special about this movie.
I've always loved this film and would love to watch it again. I saw it in black and white years ago.
It is available, but still blocked on YT...
I LOVE!
Lovely... I'm addicted to this film. No matter what the critics might dislike, it is so unforgettable and absolutely romantic.

@@christinasteinbacher5304 It is available, but not on YT. He's adorable in this. Must confess I love Michael Jayston's villains too. :)

Where can this movie be seen? It has a great musical score, not played here.
The musical score is brilliant indeed. The film is available to watch, but still blocked on YT. And it's on DVD, of course.
Is this shown anywhere???
Yes, it's available to watch, but not on YT. 🥰
