I watched this one live. That photo guy in the last hour and his persistence on that one particular question, not giving Amber's lawyer that one word "No." answer they wanted from him so much was just admirable! That guy has nerves of steel and my uttermost respect.
I have a degree in graphic design and photo editing and exit data and meta data are completely different. Everything he stated on the topic is true. And that one answer really wasn't a yes or no question. He would have had to lie under oath to give them that answer. He knows what he's talking about. He told them the truth as best he could within the limitations he was required to stay in.

I don’t understand how the judge lets Amber go on a tangent all the time but they demand Johnny to answer yes or no.

The judge isn’t usually the one who stops it per se. The judges often only steps in when one of team members or either side calls out a need to do so. When Amber is being questioned most of JD team let’s her keep going to dig her own grave. When Johnny is being questioned most of AH team stops him very quickly in his answers and asks to only answer yes/no so the rest of the truth can’t mess up their questioning tactics. The judge just says if she is going to allow the objections or not when it is called.
That only looks better for JD as it shows that there are things they don't want him to say, and don't want the jury to hear. JD's Team probably let her talk as much as she did because she was only digging herself a deeper hole as each time she'd claim everyone else was lying but her.
I said the same thing . They should have stopped amber from speaking like they do to him . But then , I think they let her dig her own hole .

Dr. Shannon Curry is the real psychologist dedicated to science, and she is so passionate I can listen to her testimony for hours, Amber's side presented psychologists who use their position and knowledge they acquired to skew testimony in their favor.
I strive to be like her in my professional life.
@CC this is a truly unfortunate opinion. Luckily they give standardized tests that show factual data of one’s mental status, not their opinions. My psychologists/psychiatrists/therapists/other health care professionals literally have helped save my life and mental sanity. I don’t know what I would do without their diagnoses and treatment. I hope you don’t use your personal opinion on that to discourage others from seeking treatment. It truly could be a matter of life and death for someone else.

omg I LOVED how they blended the photos together! the metadata expert proved they were the exact same picture! the same ones amber trying to claim she took first with her mirror lights off and then ON. you could even tell then they were identical pictures and camille called her out for it. now we got the expert proving it!
Yeah the funny thing is all you have to do is break up the picture into a few sections. You can see strands of hair and the way the hair is flowing down are all exactly the same. It would be impossible to take 2 pictures without taken them in a burst shot to have them perfectly match up, let alone reposition yourself to take another shot.
Unless she had a job as a queens guard maybe and someone else was doing all the work. It's just so far fetched it's unlikely.

Mannnn Mr. Rottenborn is so rude!! Each passing day it seems that Johnny is gaining back more and more of his confidence. You can see he’s healing and finding peace as he’s able to get this weight off his back and seeing the support he’s getting while doing so. Being believed as a victim is such a big part of healing.

I still find myself watching this trial but, what I find most amusing is when Amber testified under oath seemingly crying saying “I’m not sitting here smirking and laughing in court” when it’s VERY clear she was on this day!

I thought Amber’s side was done with their time. Amber’s attorneys are bringing up stuff that has nothing to do with defamation.
I feel so bad for him. I almost cried with him on the stand. Rottenborn was so mean to him. He took advantage of the fact that Johnny can't think as fast as him. He reminded me of one of those people who make you look bad because they fire questions at you so fast you can't catch them. I'm glad that he got to redirect and he explained about the messages. He felt responsible. He got her Aquaman and then she did this and he realized that he gave WB a monster. He felt like he had to do something about it so he sent those messages because of that. It's a shame that WB didn't have a choice at that point. They had already signed her on and paid her and Fantastic Beasts 2 hadn't been produced yet. So they let him go and kept her to save money. I do think they should have stood by him but business is business I guess. Just listening to him, I feel as if he has been stomped continually. People keep battering him and not giving it up. Amber had absolutely no evidence about this phone that he supposedly smashed. None. If she was going to make claims, she should have taken pictures. The fact that she didn't says she's lying. If you have no evidence, don't make the claim.

Could the demand for 20M have been to make Amber believe that he was still financially solvent? He didn't have enough cash to pay his taxes, yet he was paying for a multi substance abuse habit, upkeep on multiple properties, large personal and professional staff, then legal fees for multiple lawsuits were added to the mix. No Disney contract supporting a deal for 23M for a role 8m P of the C 6 was ever shown in court and was never shown to his "forensic accountant". The poor account made his projection based upon his current Manager's word only. NONSENSE! He has continued to work as an actor except when he chose to tour with his band and to take time off. How clever he's been to avoid, decline, refuse and evade psychological personality testing & evaluation by independent or any licensed therapist prior to this trial. Sounds like he's hiding something or his attorneys fear something being exposed. Narcissistic Bipolar Disorder with Rage and PTSD based upon childhood trauma resulting in him consistently blaming his mother resulting in projection of this trauma onto females he is intimate with? Maybe? Or resulting deeply rooted misogynistic belief, behavior and communication. Could Amber and Johnny have met their match? With Johnny being much older and powerful and knowing how to passive aggressively trigger Amber and resulting in Amber's frustration resulting in responding vocally and aggressively. THEY BOTH ABUSED EACH OTHER...verbally, physically, threateningly, emotionally. They've both lied in this trial and both have had their careers diminished by all this mess. Movie producers, marketers, investors, insurance companies do not like to invest in and support drug abusers and people involved in controversial and messy relationships or divorced.

Damn this is pretty good actually! And I'm not saying I agree/disagree with everything you've said, but you made some very interesting points. While I know most people won't be open minded. It is interesting to take into account his drug habits, band tour(nothing wrong with that), he wasn't an interesting actor to make films with anymore(according to Disney/WB), he has acknowledged verbal and mental abuse exists. I was 100% on Mr. Depps side, and I still am, and I'm making the assumption that he isn't telling the truth "100%" (￦ould a lot of people be completely honest in court if your life is at stake) but the reasons why I defend him are:
1. Voice recording of Ms. Heard admitting to hitting Mr. Depp
2. The pictures she provided don't coincide with her testimony
3. She didn't identify Mr. Depp in the Op-Ed, but she did claim the publication from the Op-Ed knowing that it was recklessly and possibly intentional to smear the character of Mr. Depp, even if it did not state *_HIS_* name, again..that will be hard to *prove*. Defamation is still in the *balance* of what one constitutes to be effective in the court based evidence, testimonials and witnesses provided. I am still going to SAY that they both were abusive to one another, but Ms. Heards claim of physical abuse is non sufficient
*No Money* is to be given to neither plaintiff or defendant based on the evidence and testimony provided in court
*Possible* sufficient evidence to put a connection between the Op-Ed and Mr. Depp, but Ms. Heard did so legally as to not put Mr. Depps name. Disconnecting the two
Not guilty for Ms. Heard(IMO)
*Sufficient enough evidence* to _clear_ Mr. Depps name of any sexual and physical abuse accusations
Resulting in Ms Heards claim of $100 million in countersuit: DENIED
*Mr. Depps habits* (drugs/alcohol/
paying for friends living conditions) resulted in an irresponsible way of managing his own money. Despite the fact that he had a management team(can be argued either way)
*Disney/WB* stated that firing Mr. Depp was not a result in what was said in the Op-Ed
Resulting in the reward for the $50 million: DENIED
* Mr. Depp and Ms. Heards extreme altercations* benefited no one, and unfortunately dragged so many people back into their horrible past. Drugs, jealousy and lies played an important conjecture into their matrimony.
Mr. Depp is not a wife beater, nor a sexual abuser. Case Closed.

The lawyer than questionned the forensic specialist was so difficult to listen to; it was completely absurd. He kept trying to attack the man's credibility and tried to manipulate the answers to get a specific result that had no grey zone, even if it is false.

She's going to lose because her lawyers not allowing the expert to talk made her look more guilty. She was doing a great job of looking guilty on her own and didn't need their help to look worse.
@Cleaning Lady 1972 Honestly, I have a feeling that neither one of them will be given any big penalty, because they both made monumental mistakes and lied constantly, and also because none of the "experts" were able to prove anything without a shadow of a doubt (but then again, the american justice system has a tendency of being ruthless). He tried to destroy her career, she did the same to him. Many of the things that the general public put their focus on are of no legal importance (like the sh*t in the bed) and so they may give a penalty to both of them but it's possible that it will cancel out (like if we both owe each other 3$, there's no point in paying anything). She may have to pay a little more, but nothing conclusive came out of this trial so far except that they are both troubled, that they hate each other, and that they are willing to act (they are actors after all) anything and lie to win. I don't expect a big outcome because of it. The judge and the jury will probably say that they don't believe any of them, that they think they both lied, and that for that reason, they both should seek help (therapy) and stop harassing each other. One thing for sure, this is not a criminal case, it is a civil one, and so no one should be going to jail (nothing spectacular happened that could change that, like being accused of contempt). The most likely option is a lack of serious legal consequences, that both their careers will be strongly damaged, and that they'll continue harassing each other in the future. In any case, the worst that could happen is either that she pays 50 millions or less to him, or that he pays 100 millions or less to her (her counter attack).
