Greets the audience, shows respect and congratulates his opponent, says hello and cheers to Federer, sings Happy Birthday to his mom and gives special thanks to his physio for all the work he's done that allowed him to compete despite his injury... I mean its obviously the perfect recipe of a "villain", a vile creature, someone to despise and disrespect constantly on court, to boo him, to cheer his double faults and to clap when he is about to hit the ball... How this has been allowed to go on both from crowds and the media/governments is truly BAFFLING.
No matter. The GOAT stays true to his values. He takes all that hate and turns it into fuel for success! Wins against players, crowds, media, governments, hecklers... everything! All at once.

There’s Novak and then the rest of the field. He has refined his game, and while my heart has an eternal soft spot for the serve and volley attack of Edberg, Sampras, and Fed, there’s is just something so pure and clean about the way Nole uncoils through the ball, really extending every inch into the swing but smooth as butter… If you’ve ever played tennis, you know that feeling, and how much footwork and feel for the ball on the strings - but Nole does it at the highest level. He didn’t start that way but really refined his game to achieve it. And he didn’t have a net game back in 2007 either. Anyway, as a tennis fan, thank you Novak - there’s a purity to the game that I love. And your sheer mental toughness and attitude are to be emulated. Let’s enjoy him while we can!
