First of all sorry for late reply Ankita. I was little busy these days.
Comming to your query I want to clear that A botanist named John Hendley Barnhart (1895) proposed that the name of the families should be changed and it should be such that it include the name of the genus belonging to that family as well as it should have and ending with suffix - aceae.
So there are basically 8 families whose new names are there. But you don't need to be confused you can use any one of the name either traditional or new ones.
There is no problem in any one of them .
Ok
So the new names are ending with aceae while the older names are not. I am providing here all the names -
Palmae ( old )/Arecaceae ( new )
Gramineae ( old ) /Poaceae ( new )
Cruciferae (old )/Brassicaceae (new )
Leguminosae (old )/Fabaceae (new)
Guttiferae(old)/Clusiaceae(new)
Umbelliferae(old)/Apiaceae(new)
Labiatae(old)/Lamiaceae (new)
Compositae(old)/Asteraceae(new)
So pareshaan hone ki jarurat nhi hai koi bhi name usi kr skte hai , purana wala bhi or nya wala bhi.
Related to this rule it is mentioned in international rule of botanical nomenclature.
I am sharing the link here , you can refer to last paragraph point number 18.5 and 18.6 after opening the link , then it will be crystal clear.
