Nothing biased about it. I'm Irish and I know this term gets thrown around a lot unnecessarily, but regardless of his success I still feel he's underrated. "The Proposition" and "The Rover" are absolute masterpieces that deserve more recognition
I noticed that too. It could be due to the fact that he was born to english parents, and then his family moved to Australia. He hence probably got a chance to sample the two accents and come up with his own "goldilocks" version :). It does sound very nice.
Never understood "supporter" What does that mean exactly?!? You thank a serviceman or put a yellow sticker on your car. Not enough for me. Im ex USMC and supporters on the sidelines in short skirts and pom poms. You want to "truly" support a service man let your son or daughter serve. We appreciate THAT KIND of support!
MagpiesNeedle Thank you! I’ve had sleepless nights for 7 years straight now. I’ve missed out on so much in life because my mind was occupied on what Tom Hardy said in this interview instead of focusing on just living and being in the moment. I will finally be able to rest well tonight thanks to you.
It's not uncommon for Australians to speak in a more soft-spoken accent. Pearce lived on a farm in Geelong, so I don't think "posh" really comes into it. Of course many people do speak in the standard "usstralyan" accent, and his mother probably influenced the way he speaks, but even then many Aussie men are soft spoken and have a gentle manner, as much in rural areas as anywhere else. It's different from being effeminate, and not seen as being less masculine as far as I can tell.
Maybe I’m biased because I’m Aussie but Guy Pearce is one of Hollywood’s best , he can do anything in acting

Guy was born in England too.
@@allaamrauf8214 didn't know that but look if you've been on Neighbours or Home and away you get citizenship so he is now 😂
Tom Hardy's natural accent is some weird amalgamation of all his roles. You can hear every character in some way in there.
that would make sense.
Amazing actors in an amazing movie. Loved every minute of it. One of my favorites
Amazing how these Guys pulled off the Chicago and Southern Accents. Well done.
tom is such a method actor, he changes his voice and everything for roles and doesnt break out of it when he is off set
He supports a load of charities he's a big inspiration to many people including me
Love you Guy Pearce. Phenomenal acting. Thanks ☺
I love how Tom Hardy is never paying attention in his interviews...cute
Thanks dear and nice to meet you 💝
The thick english dialect (Bronson) + Deep and subtle voice (Forrest) = Tom Hardy's accent
Two of the greatest today. Awesome!
Anybody else pick up the “Memento” joke at the beginning from Hardy?
two fantastic actors at the top of their game, can't wait to see this movie.
Best line in the movie, " have you met Howard?"
Guy Pearce, Ton Hardy and Shia... I got to see this movie..!!!!!
amazing tone of voice
Wow, the two sexiest men on the planet
katheryn omg yes😍
@@best4last171 thanks dear and nice to meet you 💝
Британские актеры шикарные мужики. Браво за работу. Спасибо за эмоции ❤❤❤
One on the left is Aussie
From Australia

His beard is awesome.
He was born in England, but grew up Australian. If you're just going off the accent, that's a fairly normal Australian accent, not British.

Este hombre me encanta definitivamente Tom es bueno, me enloquece.
Thanks dear and nice to meet you 💝
these guys are so hot and talented
Lawless wasn't up to much but Guy was excellent in the film.
Tom sounds like me at job interviews. Like dude, give direct answers and shut up! (He's great btw)
both of these men could make an interesting James Bond.....
I loved it ( this he was about to say I loved working in superhero movies)
How can you say such a thing? It's magnificent! Then again, I think every single man with looks better with a beard.
Born in England, English mother, give the man his dues
:-) i know man. I have friends who serve in the Air Force who I love and care for dearly but I disagree with the premise of the war. Its tough.
'Sorry, I'm wittering on..' aww so cute
I thought the same but no its not.
he is currently doing a programme for discovery channel in Siberia. thats why
The interview is just like the movie. I can't hear Tom's voice.
'and loved it'

their voices are low and fascinating
6:17-6:23...so precious!!lol....
Tom: I'd like too see more jessica... so sweet
Thanks dear and nice to meet you 💝

"I loved it"
Anyone know what Tom Hardy says at around 4:45?
Dec M “and loved it”, not a tricky one, really, considering the man can grumble/mumble yet still be understood, just gotta listen

0:13 - 'Yeah, still hench'
THAT BEARD. Someday, I will achieve that.
Tom's voice is different here 🤔😄
thats not method acting ... but he is extremely dedicated
is the beard on to hardy for the everest movie?
Obviously takes after Thomas Hardy the English poet
Aussie. Brit and a yank in this movie..nice. tom
Both are great actors but i felt Lawless was bit forgettable. they need to do a big time pic.
I don't get it either!

@judithj1 For mad max
I didn't disagree.......
how does Guy look so dorky off set and cool on set ?
Correction... Australian.
he supports the troops sacrafice from their families not the war crimes
Does he support idiots who need to leave spell check on?
@mhks68 let your son or daughter serve? you cant be real.
i love these guys and tom is one of my favourite actors but...this looks like a comedy sketch! actors are so ridiculous!
What the fuck is up with Hardy here, he looks like he's jonesing lol
Rakes is so ugly but Guy is so attractive ... Why ...
Well he was a junkie, so for people who are sober now it still kinda itches.
A poor man's DiCaprio and Pitt.
Lawless was shit.
Then why are you here?
Maybe you liked it more than you think!
@@ruly8153 Nah it was shit.
