Thank you for making these videos… they have been helping me a lot in my professional career (and even in my personal life). I’ve found myself learning so much during my lunch breaks recently because of you
In other words, to get it very clear, even you are an employee, it is still a business. They do not care about your needs, you do not need to care about their needs. Say what is a value you bring in and be very careful if you actually generate value and your are not only a cost (operational running cost). If you bring money in, you get raise. Otherwise, good luck.
could have given some example on step 5. i heard it over n over but an example or sample sentence would be helpful. But this video is great regradless. thank you!
Both the company & I knew my value at work, seen the changes & enjoying the benefits. I had twice requested yet was declined. Would it be okay it I request again & duly documented? Perhaps they will change their mind.
I've tried this with 6 different directors. Cost 2 service, reduce cost, increase sales, reduce labor, etc. With proven track records. And in the end its all. There's nothing I can do for you expect a promotion if there I one, or it is said. Go look for another job.
Declare your value, and not your needs - a common mistake for many of us. An understanding that every business entity exists to maximize profit, should further concretely affirm the narrative - what value do you bring to the table
I always love your videos, kudos! Keep up with your good works
This video was powerful and amazing! Thank you for this.

Last part - ask questions- I wonder which questions would be good to ask? Do you have good examples?

How would this apply in a contract situation? Not a permanent employee.
