Oh no all that way for the vireo, I hope stopping for the chilli didn't make you miss it! Glad you enjoyed it though! Still ticking birds off and still with two months to go, I'm really enjoying the whole adventure, thank you for taking us along!
Good morning 🌅 to you both from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR. In and around the beachfront promenade in the semi-rural areas of the New Territories, a number of different flocks of Egrets can be seen on a daily basis - Chinese Egrets, Little Egrets, Greater Egrets, as well as Cattle Egrets can be seen at any given time, but mostly seen is the Chinese Egrets picking up crustaceans and small fish 🐟 at the beachfront estuary.
Good episode, sorry about the vireo. That hawk though, I have a hard time seeing it as a guaranteed female. I would have said male with the orange:ish color on the stomach and chest
Good on you!!! Which county are you in (if it’s in the UK?) As a child, we moved around Northern Europe a lot, and Firecrests were one of my favourites for sure!!
Happy Halloween! Another wonderful birding adventure!
Lovely video again!
