- Anointing makes the difference. Prophets, priests and kings were anointed. Objects were anointed. Messiah comes from Hebrew word “anointed” it’s to smear ointment on something. Jesus was anointed. Satan is anti-christ. It’s not numbers, eloquence, looks, technology, emotionalism, contrived manifestations. It can’t break the yoke, heal the sick.
The anointing of the Holy Spirit is the overflow of the divine life of God through you as a consecrated servant of the Lord.
I. Appointing requires anointing. 1 Samuel 9:19-20
A. Destiny was in his heart. Donkeys were on his mind.
B. Unrealistic dreams require the Holy Spirit. Give me lower and upper strings.
C. Without the anointing our calling is dangerous, with the anointing you are dangerous!
II. Anointing comes by association. 1 Samuel 10:11
A. Holy Spirit came upon Saul by being in the company of prophets. This happened to Jesus. “He that walks with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed” Proverbs 13:20.
B. Association changed him so much that he became a proverb. Unnatural. Unusual. Unlike him. Not reflecting his upbringing. If you run with wolves, you will learn how to howl but if you associate with eagles you will learn how to soar to great heights. It is better to be alone than in the wrong company. A mirror reflects a man’s face but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses
How to find mentors:
- seek to serve, not to be mentored
- bring those behind you to your level, if you want those ahead of your to bring you to theirs.
III. Anointing grows by desperation. 1 Samuel 19:24
A. Experiences must lead to hunger for God (Tale of two Saul’s. Matt.7:22)
B. God replaced a man who knew it all and had it all with a boy who was after God’s heart!
C. When you lose the hunger, you lose fear of God. Anointing leaves!
Revelation 2:4-5 You LEFT, something else took the place!!!
4 Things That Kill Fire of God:
- Offense (even Jesus had leaders leave him cause of that)
- Disappointment (they walked away, Jesus caught up and spoke their hearts caught fire)
- Busyness (fruit is result of intimacy, busyness is result of flesh)
- Materialism (it’s not having but what has you, aim always to be generous not just rich; raise your giving as your living increases)
When you lose anointing within you, you end up destroying it within others.
Passionate people repent, passive people live in remorse.
When you’re not burning for Jesus, everything you do for Jesus will be a burden to you.
To be hungry for God stay fascinated with God, don’t get familiar! Philippians 3:8

Anointing is everything on our life and is the Power which come only from above and no were else and without it this life is meaningless
I live in Mill Creek, WA (about 3.5 hours from your ministry) and God has called me to make the drive and attend your service. My fiancé is far from God but the Holy Spirit has told me that he will come to the Lord and be a Christian man. Please pray for him that he may hear the Holy Spirit. We’ve prayed the prayer of salvation but he must want it in his heart before the Holy Spirit anoints him. Thank you for your amazing testimonies and videos. I just found you a few days ago and currently, I’m out running errands and the Lord put it on my heart to watch this video so I watched it sitting in a parking lot and praising Him and crying and worshiping! I was Catholic growing up and my family is still Catholic but my heart has been changed by Christ. The Lord has also told me I will bring my family to Christ from the Catholic Church. Pls pray for me. Depression and having heavy heart. Lost & lonely. I just feel alone ...yes only jesus is with me. Im not well often getting sudden asthma attacks panic attacks anxiety fear.... Today i took off from work coulnt go slept the whole day in my room. Never eat just took water and cake and oats . I just want Jesus. I just want peace. I dont want the world. Im a sinner saved by grace. Im in spiritual battle Dreams of revelation..war planes... apartments collapsing makes me run in my dream...I just want to be holy ...pls pray for me.
