- Nゲージ軌道を使ってカーブ走行での速度と
カントの関係、又高速走行での軌道の保線の
重要性を検証してみました。
目新しい実験ではありませんか、何気なく
感じている素朴な疑問を調べました。
カントがある方がカーブ通過速度が上がると
いうのはなんとなくわかりますが、実際には
どのくらいの角度があればどれだけの速度で
通過出来るのかはあまりわからなかったので
検証しました。
実験の結果、カント角度が少しだけついてい
るだけで高速走行を安定して通過出来る事が
わかりました。
また直線軌道の高速走行では速度が上がれば
上がる程ほんの僅かな軌道の歪みで脱線につ
ながる事がわかりました。
今回の実験では時速37km/hまで走行しまし
たが、nゲージ縮尺ではとてつもなく早く感
じました。次回はこの倍の時速60km/hを目
標にチャレンジしてみたいと思っております
