- Sometimes called “The Village by the Sea”, Carlsbad, California is a popular tourist destination due to its white sandy beaches, ideal temperature, great restaurants and elegant charm. There is no shortage of activities to participate in including,
• Legoland California Resort - theme park, miniature park, and aquarium
• Aquafarm - Tour Southern California's only oyster farm
• The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch - fifty acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus blooms come alive with color for only six to eight weeks each year, from early March to early May
• The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) Museum - dedicated to public education. The GIA Museum has a wide range of exhibits.
• Various walking and/or food tours offered throughout the city.
And don’t forget to visit a state beach of course!
