Like 8 years I saw PROF, Dem Alas, and Atmosphere. PROF opened and stole the whole fucking show. Never heard him till that night. Seen him a few now and you right he always has a smile. Love it.
Prof is Mt favorite artist I traveled from Canada to MN to see him. Was the best thing I've done.

Ya know, I heard of him years ago when he did the song with tech, but that was all I'd heard/known of him until this year. I was scrolling on TH-cam and saw what looked like Murr (James Murray) from impractical jokers behind a mic as I scrolled quickly past the TH-cam shorts. Immediately, I scrolled back up confused and clicked it. This was the short of the live & in color version of Tarzan. Since then, we've been hooked, and real talk, a lot of his older stuff I didn't realize was 10+ years old because it reminds me a lot of today's music. It's almost like he's got info from a decade into the future lol
Prof is the shit. His live shows are insane. My favorite songs include Andre the Giant, Criminal and Gasoline.

I am from the midwest and love midwest hiphop. In 2013 I went to a hip hop festival in the twin cities called soundset. Headliners were snoop dogg and busta rhymes. Of course there was brother ali and atmosphere, which is really who i was there to see. But busta didn't show up... a guy comes out on stage and tells everyone that busta isn't going to be there but there just so happened to be an artist in the crowd that has agreed to fill the slot... Prof. He absolutely killed it! Best show of the whole thing and he was just pulled out of the crowd. It was insane. Went to maybe a dozen of his shows over the next couple years making sure all my friends knew exactly how great he is. There really is no one better

Edit #2: Jellyroll is one of my all time favs. He hit mainstream last year but on his own terms. The man is a living legend in Nashville. He does rap, rock and roll and any other genre he feels like doing. You should check him out.

I think part of the reason he is so fun and enjoys life is because of the struggle and because of where he came from. You can’t truly enjoy a sunny day if you’ve never been stuck in the rain!

Been listening to PROF for say maybe 8 or 9 years and I’ve been saying almost the whole time that PROF is all around the greatest MC in the history of hip hop. He’s got vocab , he’s got a beautiful voice, mad bars, he can spit over any track you throw at him and make it sound good, music videos are always entertaining and rewatchable, the energy at his live shows shake the foundation of the building he performs at. I could keep going but at this point I’m just simping for the man.

I enjoy going to shows but I usually just stand and watch but the energy at a Prof show is contagious and it will have you moving weather you are in the front or in the back. No judgement just fun. Attempted cancellation of this dude just made him stronger. Legendary. Some one who is in that category of amazing skills but not very well known , and if you could do a bio on is King Iso, that is next level as well
