Woohoo a ferry ride, and it was interesting to see the scooters boarding ferry! ⛴😍 The palm trees and beach remind me of Miami. 🌴🏖 Thank you for sharing this informative, scenic, serene ferry ride and stroll in Cijin Island, AK! 🤗
Many thanks for this! I've enjoyed the walk on the beach. When I look out my window here in New Hampshire, all I see is snow and ice. The temperature here is 14 F, and I don't dare check on the wind chill. Thanks again!
This video is an adventure to a paradise for sure , Palm trees 🌴beautiful beach and nice yet short ferry ride😎There’s everything that the nan could want 😀Thank you for this experience to wittnessing the beauty of the nature and thank you for sharing A K🙂👍!!!
Yep I am another New Englander that enjoyed seeing Palm trees and 79F temps! here in Western Ma. we have temps in the low teens. and snow of course its February! so tis typical. onece again AK you took this old man on a great adventure thank you for taking me along ECF
03:21 "悠遊卡" (pronounce as "you you ka", "ka" is card) is easy card, and "一卡通" (pronounce as "yi ka tong") is ipass. The word "悠遊" has the meaning of "traveling easily and freely", that's how it get its english name; “一卡通” literally mean "the one card for all usage".
The reason why the ferry trip is so short is because the island used be just a sandbar with its south end connecting to the main island, and it only became an island due to the construction of the Kaohsiung port, that is, the south end of the sandbar was removed in order to make way for boats and vessels. Except for ferry, vehicles are also allowed to enter this island by going through the underwater tunnel located at the south end of the island.
so many motorcycles; nice view on the water; bright sunny day for a boat ride; if it wasn't so cold it would make me want to take a Hudson River ferry; that island is very close; great view from the island; good to have a big landmark to guide you back to the ferry; looks as if the island has some fun shopping and places to eat ; so much food to choose from, haha; nice beach park and a nice beach; the beach is so wide and big before you get to the water's edge; was it low tide? I was wondering what body of water that was, The East China Sea or Pacific Ocean or the Bashi Channel? Was a nice tour, thank you!!!
The proximity of the currently so-called island is because it is actually a sandbar. And the body of water is between Taiwan strait and South China sea.
I love it when you find these hidden treasures. The views are stunning with plenty of shops and eateries to enjoy.
Couldn't agree more!

Long shadows even at 23 degrees N. latitude, must have recorded it in the dead of winter.
Can you swim cijin Beach?
