Looking good . The tank looks small is it a Manxman tank ? Or are my eyes playing tricks on me . I don't think I've ever had proper tank rubbers , I always found some old hose from somewhere . Featherbed singles must be in short supply these days , so many were made into Tritons . I'm looking forward to hearing it run .
Not sure on the tank. Featherbed Norton's are quite common around my way. I know of two more singles and three twins within about ten miles. mostly hidden in sheds from prying eyes. There's also a CS1 nearby, I'll try and get it on the channel one day.
@@ginner43 . It'd be nice to see the CS1 . Featherbeds are pretty rare over here . My son has a Mercury under a blanket in the corner of the garage , it's crying out for a rebuild . Been that way for 10yrs or more . The youth of today ! There's no bl**dy hope for 'em .
Can't throw a stick without hitting a featherbed around here. Must be the company I keep. I'll try and convince the CS1 owner to let me feature it. Could be a long shot.
That was a great way for a vintage bike nerd like me just to zone out for a few minutes and unwind. Thanks
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.
Great progress. You are lucky to have a Norton, a true historic motorcycle.
It was a stroke of luck finding this bike.
The rotor is a common problem and will sound like a knackered big end. Great channel. Thanks.
You are right, it does sound like that.
Its a cracking bike even better in the flesh
It's not bad
Looking good your getting there with it. Soon be on the road .
Already taken it out. couldn't resist.
changing tires is fun.
Don't know about fun, but it can be an interesting task, sometimes.
Great channel
Thank you Good to have you aboard.
That’s looking good. Can’t wait to see until the next one.
Thanks 👍
Very satisfying to see it come together! Easy on the lock-tite.. they want a fortune for that stuff now. Ha!
I know, it's painful to buy.

Almost forgot. Good to see you have your Guzzi back on the road.

@@ginner43 Thank you . She runs very nicely , although we did have one little hiccup with a cylinder stud . Very little vibration for an old bike .
