      Thank you, I guess its the type of video I like to watch, so it just made sense I would do the same. Thanks for watching!

    Nice! I like how you make a theme with your build, like the jolly rogers serie, and now the marine helicopters.

    Great build! I loved the shark mouth painting! Your video production skills are amazing as well. I love your video presentations .They are engaging, informative, you do not drone on over minute insignificant details, and the voice over is excellent. There are so many videos where builders just drone on and on which is so boring! You avoid that. In my opinion your narrative is well balanced. You provide relevant information in an engaging and brief way. Keep up the great work in your building and story telling.

      Thank you for the very kind words. It can be a struggle trying to find the right balance of showing whats important without going too long and boring. But I appreciate the feedback, it helps me greatly!

    I just received my Academy Shark mouth . I just finished the cock pit. I'm not anywhere near your experience level of building. I appreciate your advise and use some of your techniques. Very helpful. On the cock pit , Instead of using the deca or photo edgel ,I decided to try some painting as I'm pretty experienced in that part. I used a metallic green paint on the square gps and Dyno screens on the dash boards. After drying they actually look like green screens. It turned out ok ,8ncase you might want to try it out.

      Hey Brett, I told Trent that you had asked what he would like to see you build and he got super excited! His reaction was "yes, yes, yes!*😅
      We like bombers a lot. The He-111 is one of our favorites. But, we like the B-25 and B-29's as well! That Trumpeter C-47 would be nice to see! He got excited seeing that video review! Thank you so much for asking our opinion! Means a lot! 😊

      @@MoonwalkerModels OK. awesome, I've got 2 B-25s that I for sure want to do this coming year, so that will be perfect, one of them has the 75mm cannon in the nose! And of course the C-47. I don't have any B-29s or HE-111s in the stash but I do have a B-17. Glad you responded!

      I'm an idiot, totally forgot about the B-17! 😅 We love that one!!! I have the newest release of the Revell 1/48 Memphis Belle! Any of those are enough to get out undivided attention!! Thank you sir!😊

    I tried a mini gun barrel and gave up, awesome work on this! How long did it take you to complete all 3 models?

    • @HammerheadModelMaking
      @HammerheadModelMaking  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I worked on the CH-53 for about 4-5 weeks on its own, then did the Venom and Viper side by side, and spent about 4 weeks doing those two, so all 3 just a little over 2 months.

  • @xjetpilot

    Brett, when you said Kitty Hawk was out of production, did you mean on this viper kit? Or are you referring to out of business?

    • @HammerheadModelMaking
      @HammerheadModelMaking  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      At the time this video was released, KittyHawk the company had gone out of business, I think however, the molds were purchased by another company and they have been re-releasing the kits under the KittyHawk name.

    How did you do the “intake plugs”? (For lack of a better name haha)

    • @HammerheadModelMaking
      @HammerheadModelMaking  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I used a product called "Green Stuff" A two part epoxy putty, just rolled it up and installed into the intakes from the back and gently sculpted.

    It's a real shame those Sidewinders are inert! The yellow banding on the Hellfire missiles shows they are live, but the blue banding on the Sidewinders shows them to be inert! Kind of a weird inconsistency.

    • @HammerheadModelMaking
      @HammerheadModelMaking  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I went back and check the instructions, they only provide the blue stripes for the Sidewinders. (my knowledge of ordinance is very limited) But, with this new knowledge I agree, its a strange inconsistency.
