How to Remove WAX From Wood!! 💥 (GENIUS)

- In this video, I'm going to show you how to remove wax from wood. Specifically wood furniture or hardwood floors, although this will clean on any hard surface you spill wax on!!
A heavy duty degreaser won't work for this and even if it could remove the wax you run the risk of damaging the wood in the process.
To do this the right way you need a hair dryer and some paper towels.
Simply plug in the hair dryer and turn it on the low setting. If the low doesn't get hot enough you can flip it to the high setting. Now blow the candle wax with the hair dryer by holding it in place right above the wax and the heat will liquify the wax and allow you to simply wipe it up with a paper towel. It doesn't stay liquid for long so wipe it up as you are blowing it. Be patient, give yourself a couple minutes to perform this and allow the heat to work for you until all the wax is gone.

i need to remove a wax finish on a table top , fairly thin coating, want to paint surface
Well I just spilled candle wax down my roll top desk so I'm definitely gonna try the hair dryer I am also using a plastic pampered chef scraper in between. Thanks for your advice. One day I'll learn my lesson.

I've been using a razor. This would method wouldn't damage ur surface tho. I'm alway spilling my wax melt. Next I'm doin it ur way!
Glad you found the video helpful!! If you are in a rush and dont have time to pull out the hair dryer, and need to scrape it real quick, I would recommend a plastic scraper instead of the blade on a wood surface.
