I can see why you left the title as a question mark. For me I as a cyclist and content creator as well, I would highly recommend DJI Osmo Action 3 or 4. The magnetic quick release mount is the best in all action camera line. I do use a mouth piece, computer mount, mini selfie stick, and bonus my case also has magnet so I can stick it on any metal signs. The most important thing for me is the IMAGE quality and the DJI Osmo Action is the best. The button on the side is also a key feature because I can quickly change shooting modes. I programed it for slow mo 4k 120fps for my b rolls, and 4k24fps for my A rolls. The touch screen is also the best compared to GoPro. For me my honest opinion as a content creator and camera gear nerd, the BEST action camera that I would recommend is a DJI Osmo Action 3 or 4.
I use a velco strap and insert the hat clip in the strap and attach it to the helmet, you won't feel any weight from the camera and will have a real POV, even when you turn your head. It is very stable and tight, won't budge. You can also buy a Gopro with male thread adaptor for the Action pod and install in front so you can always view your camera thru the screen.

Would love a new camera but TBH the 360 cameras are one trick ponys. The image distortion just looks odd, worse than a standard action cam, maybe it's something in the editing software?....anyway, walang choice I just hope my 8yr old Sony hangs in there a bit longer
