I had a German Shepard for 10 years; I was always amazed at how intelligent he was. I can honestly say that when I had to put him down, I was never as sad as I was that day. I have lost friends and family, but the bond between a dog and a master is beyond words to describe it.

German Shepherds are so much different than what people generally think. They're known to be defensive of their owners but that's because their loyalty is on a whole other level. They're amazing family dogs and they're full of love. I think these videos do an amazing job showing what they are actually like.

As long as Rocky is still making the monkey sounds, all is ok. He seems to be pretty sweet for a GSD, fortunately for his pack. Bailey is a sweetheart too, but doesn't like to share his human!
