Hi Johnny thanks very much for the short tour of the hotel, nice location being near Paddington Station and the restaurants ☺ this sure is the tiniest room I've ever seen in a hotel though it looks nice and modern, and nice basic amenities. Loved the animal sculptures and Paddington Bear you walked past at the beginning too. Many thanks and have a great day ☺
Evening Sheena how are you? Hope your staying cool & dry during this British heatwave 🥵here! Hopefully the weather can get better so we can get relief finally! Paddington is beautiful here in London & hope you check it out soon! 😎👍
I stayed at a Sonder in NYC while you were in London on this visit. The size of that hotel room is the polar opposite of the Queen Studio that I had. Only difference is the construction noise outside every morning at 7 am.
You got it right the second time around “Pancras”. At least you didn’t call it pancreas. 😂 I checked how much the Hilton at Paddington is for tomorrow night (August 1): £218, or approximately $387 Canadian. It’s definitely more expensive in the summer but I tend to shop around. I usually stay in Pentonville/Islington, which is near Kings Cross. Outlets with switches are definitely useful. I have my phone charger plugged in but I can keep it in the outlet and switch it on or off accordingly. And yes, Flakes RULE! Thanks for adding my name to the end too. Glad to be a Patreon supporter
Thanks for the info! I just found it's so easy to accidentally flip the switches but I guess locals aren't using giant adapters which get in the way :)
For what it is, the room is expensive IMO, I stayed in St. Pancras/King's Cross area in 2019 in a bigger room where you could walk at the foot of the bed and had two night tables for C$176.00 and had the elevator to all floors and breakfast area in the lobby. I don't know how much the prices have increased since then, but checking on line for the same hotel, it can be booked for C$270.00 for this August.
I stayed in that same hotel, on the same floor, in a very similar room (although the bed was even smaller!) in late May and there were also problems with the water then. Despite the tininess, I found it comfortable for one person and liked how modern and quiet it was. I suppose I'd go back if the price was right (I think I paid less than you did).
Oh God I would be in it for Sleep only. Stayed in a hotel in Russell Square and for £100 I had a huge room. Lovely staff and lovely area....Central. Can pass on name if you interested.....
In Canada everything is bigger, the cars, the houses. In European countries everything is smaller, and the wages are also a bit lower, but you do have beautiful old city centers, and many countries with many different cultures.
That is too much for a room that size. Better off staying in a premier inn or travelodge, and one in zone 3 or 4 where prices would be in the £60-100 a night range
Привет Джонни! Мне через экран тесно и душно)) надеюсь кондиционер имется в номере? А так, конечно, если только переночевать несколько ночей, то нормально. Спасибо за экскурс 😘
Nice room, short but sweet tour, thanks!
Lovely catch !! Another super awesome super amazing and a very interesting video to watch .. thanks again Jhonny

Excellent review Johnny! Thank you so much☺️
Cozy room. Stairs look like they were fun to go up and down, lol.

Enjoyed seeing Paddington. That was a small room, but I guess it wasn't bad.

Hey, JS! Thanks for the London hotel review. That sure is a small room for $300 a night! 😊
Afternoon Marg how are you? I hope your healing well at home & stay safe! 😀

I would go back too, and the location and area are great.
Elizabeth Line isn’t a tube line it’s a National Rail service.
About the same size as my cabin on my last cruise. 😂

Thanks for the Hotel tour Johnny $300 is pretty cheap for London .
It's £300 here!
Malcom what part of London do you live in.
@@whitefield4 I live close by Central London in Zone 2!
great video. Question: Does it have air conditioning?
Fortunately it does!
How long will you been in uk for?
Hi there Johnnys back in Toronto enjoy your day!😊
$300 a night for that sounds insane

The window can’t be opened? Did I understand that right? OMG. Thanks for the video 😀
He says you can. It also doesn't look like one of those windows that cannot be opened.
You can open them!
@@JohnnyStrides Thanks! My ears….
This room is way too small and no elevator to the floors. So expensive. London is super expensive. Maybe is normal for them.
There are Better & Cheaper Hotels than that just takes some looking Kings Cross is a good area also Victoria lot cheaper
Peak season to I guess why its more expensive
This hotel here in London is way too bloody small here! Wish it was big like others here in London, England 🏴 Stay safe, Johnny! 😎👍
Who needs a big room anyways? Looks clean and perfectly fine to me. If I'm in London, I do not want to be chilling in a room anyways
Not really my type of room.

There is AC (thankfully!)
