  • The most common cause of losing fish in tournaments is a malfunction from your livewell system. Most of the time this can be prevented by simply keeping your system free of lose debris and maintaining clean screens in your livewell system.
    I honestly believe the TH Marine Oxygenator system is a must have for every tournament bass fisherman. I've noticed how bass gravitate to the screen of the Oxygenator during warm days. I can't explain the science of using it in conjunction with TH Marine G-Juice but I know I don't lose bass anymore.

    Best video on CLEANING ENTIRE LIVEWELL SYSTEM ‼️
    We have a small plastic boat ( 11’ , 3 person), with livewell . The hoses that fill livewell were clear, but are now very black looking. Your video provides more info about cleaning these areas. { reply 8-15-2020 }

    Nice video, I think I had maybe 10 die in 25 years of tournament fishing. I use salt and hydroxide in the wells. When I get home I just wipe them clean with the rag I used to wash down the boat. But when I need fresh water, I pull from deep water.

    B.Lat,
    Great tips I haven't put the Livewell on the #Kayak since the last time I went saltwater stripper fishing with live eels LOL, but it makes sense to only use natural products in you system. Thanks as always for the content.

    FYI- On a really hot day DO NOT leave your oxygenator on all the time. It blows warm air against a stone to create bubbles or oxygen. Therefore you are admitting warm air into your live wells. Use the oxygenator whenever you switch locations on a lake so use in short bursts. Always throw a 7-10lb bag of ice in your live well BEFORE you take off and plug the overflow this way the ONLY WATER you use will be the water you initially pump in after catching your first fish. ONLY keep the live well on recirculate after filling and never add any more outside water. Always use G-Juice and add ice late in the day if needed. THIS WILL KEEP YOUR FISH ALIVE! Lastly, if you have a bleeding fish, pour sprite over that area even if it means down its throat. It will slow the bleeding down dramatically. Trust this

    Make sure u have good plugs. I have had bass knock them out and drain the livewell. Also I have the same set up and between the recirculating pumps and the oxygenator system they are more lively when they come out than when they go in lol.

    This video actually answered a question i had a couple weeks ago when i was cleaning my live-well. I was curious if the dawn residue would hurt the fish?

      aquarium keepers strongly discourage the use of any soaps to clean an aquarium but i guess dawn is ok cause b lat keeps alot of bass alive in his live wells!

      Stephen Crawley my mans!!!! I just use water and vinegar for that. I part vinegar 2 parts water. You can mix it how you like it though it doesn’t matter.

      My clean everything solution is 50/50 water and white vinegar with two drops of Dawn in a 16-oz spray bottle. Yes, two drops. For boat, hands, water stains, fish slime, everything. Amazing results.
