My first go at adding a Sonos Play 1 to my existing setup of Sonos speakers. This demo took less than 10 minutes and was all guided through the Sonos App.
I inherited a set of Sonos speakers three Play:1, three Play:3, and two Play:5, and they're horrible. How did Sonos get to be so big with such trashy sounding speakers? For anyone considering buying a Sonos speaker, steer clear. The only upside to them is the ability to connect multiple of them together for a whole-house experience, but a lot of Bluetooth smart home speakers that connect are available from several manufacturers. I don't know many situations where I would want music in all rooms. Get a Bose Smart Home set of speakers. They have everything from soundbars for your TV, to subwoofers, to portable speakers. They sound amazing like all their speakers do.
