Watching this for the 20th time maybe since I first discovered it, I noticed a great addition to it would be the scene from The Crown where she tells Charles "if one day you expect to be king ... then might I suggest you start to behave like one". I always loved that scene and it would fit right in with all of these great ones
She sings, too?! Is there anything she cannot do?! I love her so much. She's beyond talented and so humble. Her acceptance speeches are pure gold, especially the Oscars! I discovered her through The Crown and have watched her just now in Broadchurch. I may have to rewatch Broadchurch like I have The Crown. Her interviews and performances sure are helping me through the pandemic! Protect her at all costs!
Olivia Coleman is a treasure. I just can't figure out how she embodies these character and learns a script but can't even THINK when on an awards show our chat show. Don't get me wrong it's what makes her so endearing you just want to hug her. Much love to s humble but truely GREAT performer!
She's perfection in everything she's in. Tyrannosaur, Broadchurch, Fleabag, The Favourite, The Crown ... she literally can do it all. I'm dying to see The Father.
Loved it! The full range of Olivia Colman's acting capacity on glorious display! That woman is a dynamite! Also the effort you've put into this is *chef kiss**.
Thank you! To be honest, it was just pure joy and the only thing that took some effort was selecting clips from her vast, amazing, glorious body of work!
I loved this! I just discovered her after watching “Broadchurch” in December and immediately fanboyed over her. Watched “The Crown” and watching “The Night Manager”.......next up is “The Favourite”.....I’ll be watching more of her.....she is so great!
Huge fan. Thanks to streaming, I discovered all the gems that come from the UK, the center where so many great actors come from. Olivia Colman immediately made it on my list of “search engine topics,’ which allow me to find and watch everything she’s been in that is available online and watch it. I’d love to see something with Tom Hanks and Olivia Colman in it.
Im so proud of her. She get more and more attention from the audience around the world. She deserves it. 💕 I love her and I hope she will win a millions more awards and Oscars. Great editing. Its just perfect. ♥️
Now that I've seen all her stuff and watching it again... these rapid changes between hilarious and heartbreaking scenes is making me dizzy 🥺 what a range that woman has. And very cool video, thanks!
I watched this the first time when I didn't really know Olivia, now I've seen pretty much all her stuff and recognise which films/shows the clips are from and Olivia's talent is even more daunting and baffling now! Thank you so much for this treasure! ❤It's a very well done video, you're very skilled!
She's truly just the best Lady of our times ❤❤❤ and ofc so talented, able to make me hate her "Stepmother" in Fleabag, root for her to tears in Broadchurch, laugh loud in Flowers... she seems such a warm person irl and indeed so humble ❤ her shout out for Michaela Coel during last Emmys made my heart melt and love her even more 🥰
I just wish at some point someone from one of the awards shows sort of recreates your edit with the official audio and video from the films and series so it looks a bit more polished and uniform in terms of quality of the different clips, because this is an amazing homage to her. It has the absolute ring and vibe of an official career summary at one of those "honoring X person" ceremonies
Thank you so much! I would happily do a full career reel of hers for any award show if someone provided me with the hi-res footage. They can hire me any day!
@@Schneggs have you ever thought about maybe getting the Blu-ray versions of the films or series from a torrent site and extracting the multilayered audio to get only the voices? Or at least a cleaner audio than with the full sound. You'd get much better video and audio for sure. I haven't done any audiovisual editing in at least 8 years so honestly I wouldn't even know where to begin lol otherwise I might give it a go myself
@@nahuelma97 I do have some of the films on blu-ray. The woman has made 110 films and series so far - I love her and her work with all my heart but I can‘t buy all of them. And I don‘t torrent anything on principle - I would be undermining my own livelihood just as much as that of all the creatives in this industry. I do admit it‘s more fun to work with hi-res material of course. But it was a lovely project and I‘d do another one any day to celebrate the work of this phenomenal actor.
We are truly blessed, as a nation, to have her! Great collection of work. And a few I've still yet to see. I just want her as my neighbour so I can have a socially distanced chat about David Tennant's undercrackers :)
Thank you! Oh, I would love to! All her performances are just brilliant! I‘ll think of something... What I would love even more, though, is editing a feature film with Olivia Colman - #CareerGoals!
I've actually turned the clip at 1:00 from Tyrannosaur into a gif because it's just so iconic, this "OMG I can't believe he said that. I wish I was dead. Pretty sure my should just left my body" kind of feeling XD ...and the clip at 3:43, too because it's such an iconic Olivia dance move with the hands and this most adorable smile! :D
