I have a question about the magic fly incubator. How much water do you put in an incubator when you’re incubating eggs for day one through 18 ? and then what do you put in it after day 18 and you take the top grits out and put the eggs in the bottom grid? The instructions say 60 to 100mL, but that’s way too much. And what thermometer and humidity thing do you recommend to buy?
I just had the same problem recently and lost 7 chicks already, i did the same thing by not feeding for a long time but it didn't work so i gave the some apple vinagre and saved 4 then i loss another 2 for the cold
Hi Bird squawk ,,, have you ever had a baby bird born blind,,, I just had 5 babies out 6 lovebirds eggs ,,,the youngest died bc I was too small but one is blind ,,,,I don don’t know what to do ,,,is healthy but this is new to me
Sorry about the baby bird friend … How do you like love birds compared to cockatiels or green-cheeks? I want one that has been hand fed from before it’s eyes were open Not sure if you have noticed any difference between one with eyes open hand fed and after but I bet the blind one will have a unique personality ❤
Oh dear i have this same problem with 2 baby doves! 1 is 3 days old and 1 is 2 days old. The mother abandoned them. I have had to feed them. They eat like they are famished but now their crop is way too full. Im not positive but i dont think theyve pooped! What should i do?? Update...they are pooping!
These are babys that have been pulled from the next boxes for different reasons. when we see that the babys may be in trouble, we intervene. Thanks for watching Kevin

Which is a good bedding to use, I have to keep changing woodshavings and paper towels every 3 hrs, it keeps getting wet
we use wood chips for our breeders and paper towels for our brooders. Our brooders get changed every few hours. Kevin

Is 82 okay for chicks that young? Everything I have read says between 85 and 95 degrees.

Wow take some out sometimes they can get sour crop then you would get yeast and then you would do a crop wash and antibiotic
