Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on TH-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on TH-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on TH-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

Welcome to the rabbit hole. They just kept getting better from there and have become one of the best young bands out there today.
You haven't seen anything yet. These girls have a Huge Army across the world. Right now they are on a European tour with Muse.
Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18.
In 2022 they did over 100 gigs in North and South America along with Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless, and Three Days Grace. They recently did four shows with Muse in Mexico. They just finished 18 shows on the US leg of their world tour and are now in Europe. They just finished concerts in Plymouth (opening for Muse), London, Berlin, and The Netherlands. They will be opening for Muse four more times in the UK and France and headlining in Spain among others. They will open for Guns N’ Roses in September and also have two shows planned in Mexico for the Fall.
They are all three classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015.
They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey.
They started as a cover band and now have 47 original songs in an EP, three albums, and two singles. No bad songs. Their newest single already performed live released officially May 12th. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances.
When not performing they are humble down to earth individuals. Dany is a goofball and sweetheart, Pau talks with passion like a machine gun, and Ale is an introvert and a perfectionist.
Their career was launched with this, although not their first video. They just recorded this to send to their grandparents, and it kind of blew up. They've quite a few covers of all our favorites but they started writing originals shortly after this and have three full-length albums of incredible material. They are DEFINITELY worth looking into.

They are tour Europe, opening for MUSE, Headlining their own gigs and playing some of the biggest festivals in the world!

The Warning, 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico, currently ages 23, 21 and 18. They are working on their 4th album of all original songs. Hell yeah, The Warning! They're one of the best rock bands out there! If you're looking to react to more of their music, I'd recommend the song Disciple, from the album Error - it shows a pretty full range of just what they're capable of!
Oh, and your comment about the drummer? Yeah, all three of them are impressive, but Paulina is downright fearsome! Not only is she an exceptional drummer, but she's also a superb vocalist, pianist, _and_ lyricist!
This band is on their way to becoming a household name. They’ve been an independent band up until 2020 and had already produced 2 albums, EP and a single when they signed with Lava records for a 5 album deal, however retaining control of their music, image and social media platforms. Their current album Error is what they are touring with now as headliners and as openers for Muse in Europe. Keep going down this rabbit hole and The Warning Army will follow!😊🤘
So now you should take a look at their remake of Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara. From concept to completion in about a week.
However, The Warning is NOT a cover band. Their original songs, written by the band themselves, are just plan outstanding!😊
Now check how they rewrote it for the Metallica Blacklist album in 2021 with Alessia Cara - there's a good music video of it. From the time they got the invitation from Metallica to finishing it they only had 10 days. They did the music video a bit later. Note that it was during 2020 & The Warning was in Mexico while Alessia was in Canada. Then check how they performed it in 2022 at Teatro Metropolitan. BTW Kirk Hammett commented that the drummer kicks maximum ass.
They are currently on a European leg of their 2023 touring season. Last year they did over 100 gigs in North and South America. Twenty some as headliners with the rest supporting other bands such as Halestorm in the US and Three Days Grace in Canada. They finished the year off doing a big festival in Bogota Colombia and then headlined a show in Lima Peru.
They started out 2023 opening four shows for Muse in Mexico.

Now you've got to check out their current ... um... maybe cover isn't the word... "re-imagining" is probably the right word. The Warning's version of Enter Sandman, which they teamed up with Alessia Cara to record, is featured on Metallica's 'Blacklist' album- song 1, disc 1. Give it a listen. It's insane. As for the reaction - good observations. Pau, the drummer, was given kudos by Kirk Hammett. from Metallica, who said "The drummer kicks maximum ass!" Definitely check out their modern originals - they are insanely good. Rock and roll's best keep secret, unfortunately. LOL
They have a newer, reimagined version with Alessia Cara that is the first song on the Blacklist album. Typical that bands they covered around this age have taken note. They covered and have now opened for Foo Fighters, Guns N Roses and Muse. They are currently opening Muse's UK Tour and will be doing more shows with GnR later this summer. Their live videos are when they are at their best. I recommend Disciple from Teatro Metropolitan. They also have their new Enter Sandman performed live at that same show. Enjoy

Welcome to the wonderful world of The Warning! The Warning are the Villarreal-Valez sisters from Monterrey Mexico - Daniela "Dany" current age 23 (guitar, piano, lead and backing vocals), Paulina "Pau" age 21 (drums, piano, lead and backing vocals), and Alejandra "Ale" age 18 (bass, piano, backing vocals). They all started out very young getting classical training on the piano, and then when Dany was about 7 their parents got the video game Rock Band that Dany and Pau just fell in love with. Ale was like 2 or 3 at the time and clapped along as her sisters played. Shortly after that, Dany and Pau each started lessons in the guitar and drums respectively since those were the instruments they played in Rock Band and really wanted to learn. When she was 7, Ale chose the bass as her instrument and started lessons on her own. While they were all still just playing on their own and taking their own lessons, it started to dawn on them that these three instruments make a band, and so they started learning songs together. They would learn their favorite songs and then record a performance so that they could show their grandparents. The files were too big so they uploaded them to YT and sent them the link.
When this video went viral they seized the opportunity. They were invited to perform on the Ellen Show and received scholarships to the prestigious Berklee College of Music summer program in Boston, and they started writing their own music. Their first original EP Escape the Mind was released in 2015 and followed in 2017 by their first full LP XXI Century Blood. The following year they released their second full LP Queen of the Murder Scene which is unique as it is a full on concept album telling a story from start to finish and is an absolute masterpiece of story telling through music. These three albums were all recorded while they maintained their status as an independent band having rebuffed numerous offers from major labels in favor of maintaining complete creative control over their music. That changed in 2020 when, after 7 months of negotiations, they became the first Latin American rock band to sign with a major US label when they inked a 5 album deal with Lava Records. In 2022 they released their third album Error that they are currently on tour supporting across Europe.
While Lava is allowing them to maintain creative control, their connections did lead to them being invited to join Alessia Cara (Canadian pop singer/songwriter) to participate in Metallica's 2021 Blacklist album project. The instructions from Metallica were to completely re-imagine a song from the Black album. During the height of Covid restrictions in early 2021, they were given 10 days to completely revamp Enter Sandman, get it recorded and mixed and sent to Metallica for consideration. TW were in Mexico, Alessia in Canada, and their producer in the US (LA I think). While TW started the work of stripping the song down to it's most basic and building it back up, their producer arranged travel down to Monterrey where they finished the writing with it starting out more of a pop song for Alessia, and then adding in The Warning sound. They recorded Alessia's vocals basically over Skype and managed to get it done in just a week. The 2021 official video is amazing, and they have further changed it to be a bit heavier for when they play it live during their shows.
Get ready to have some fun, these young ladies are the real deal.

The info section in the web page would have told you that the girls were 14, 12 & 9 in 2014.
Last Friday at Download Fest they opened the 2nd day at 1 p.m. on the side stage. There were about 25000+ Brits who packed that side arena. Unbelievable!!!
Last week they played in Rock am Ring & Rock im Park fests in Germany. The 1st Mexican / Latin American / Hispanic rock band to be invited to those prestigious fests in 20 years!!!
They sold out their concerts in London & Berlin in their 1st ever Euro venture. Madrid & Barcelona next with the former being sold out twice & the latter once!!!
And there is this small matter of Muse inviting them to open for them in Europe ( Plymouth done already, 4 more to go) after being impressed by their openers in Mexico in Jan this year.
Oh, Guns & Roses have invited them again for their upcoming 2 concerts in USA.
And the above is just a small part of their incredible journey from the basement of their home that you just saw. The Warning Army must have already told you about everything by now.

I’ve followed them since the time of this video and watched them grow into what they are now, what I consider to be the best up and coming Rock band in the world!
They’re doing a European tour with Muse opening for them following the 4 gigs they did with them last year in Mexico; Muse asked them if they would like to join them in their European tour.
They have done another version of Enter Sandman for the Metallica Blacklist album (a collaboration with Alessia Cara), it’s really good!
If you liked this (which I’m pretty confident you did) you would like more of less anything else that they have done from their EP and 3 albums, live shows are better but the official videos are also great.

They're touring the world right now after having released 3 full albums, 2 EPs, 3 singles, ALL originals except one of the singles which is a completely reimagined version of Enter Sandman from 2022 for the Metallica Blacklist Album, with Alessia Cara as guest co-vocalist as a collab. you MUST watch the official music video for Enter Sanman with Alessia Cara.... make mental note of the bass player in the video you just saw, and then look very closely at the first few seconds of the official music video from roughly 7 years later (2022)....
Time flies, the Blacklist album was released in September of 2021.

While I truly love this cover at this period in their career, I like more their school concert where the tiny Ale just blows up the bass line on Muse's Hysteria. Granted she has to play it a little weird because her hands are so small.
The first song I ever heard was 21st century blood an original and it is still my favorite, the criticism of modern society written by Pau while she was Middle School, Ale was still in grade school, mixed with their musical talent on an award winning independent video. They owned me from the beginning of the drums.
I'd love to get around to their cover of hysteria along with some of the other songs suggested
She didn't play it "weird" because of the size of her hands. She played a short bit overhand for show. She had no troubles playing it a year-and-a-half earlier, when she had only just turned 9.

The real deal. Simple as that
Saw them in London a little over 2 weeks ago and they were absolutely fantastic. Such a privilege to witness them in a small venue because they won't be doing shows that small for very much longer, that's for sure. The last band I followed this closely were fronted by a guy called Freddie Mercury. Plenty of bands I've liked, but this is one two I have actively supported.
These girls are different (so am not making direct comparisons to Queen - though they cite Muse as their main influence and Matt Bellamy from Muse has written tracks which are clearly Queen influenced) but their musicianship live is up there. Some 10 years after this video was made the 'baby' sister, (Ale - Alejandra) on bass, is now several inches taller than her eldest sister (Dany - Daniela). The middle sister (Pau - Paulina) on drums is a 5 foot stick of dynamite. The early videos show their potential and if you want to take the 'journey' check out their Tedx videos, and then some of the videos from their (2018-ish?) concert at Lunario CDMX (they would have been around 13, 16 & 18 at the time) showcasing their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, and then anything on their channel from the Teatro Metropolitan concert last summer to see how far they have progressed. This video caught the attention of Metallica themselves and they were invited to contribute a track to their 30th anniversary Blacklist album. You commented that Dany was covering both guitar parts, then you'll probably enjoy Atlas Rise from a live performance - Whisky a GoGo (about 4-5 years ago).
Their produced videos are good, but it's the live stuff in my opinion that confirms how good they are.

The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track!
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 23, 21 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 MAYDAY TOUR and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

do they do covers? weeellllll... they did until they started writing their own music and lyrics... but they have been known to play a cover or two at times... i think the last one was Metallica's "Atlas Rise!" at the Whisky A GoGo on 24 Jan 2019... it was the last song played after a 2 hour gig... the event was a celebration of the opening of The Whisky (55 years) and the manager is a fan of Metallica who really liked "Atlas Rise!" so the girls decided to play it for them... this is a "fan cam" video shared by Matt TW who may post in these comments... hiya, Matt! :)
