Hi yumna.... I am also a student of hertfordshire... just completed my course work and now I am supposed to do my placement in coming year. I am offered full time permanent job by a institution where I will also be able to do my placement but the institution wants to be clarified about a few questions and concerns and they want a written email from the university on those queries before offering me a formal official placement/employement.
1. Will I be able to work full time during placement? They want me to work 40 hours per week. Am I allowed to work 40 hours?
2. Do university teams visit the institution for monitoring of student or will they get in touch with the student and the institutions' administration about the progress of student's placement?
3. Do institution have to provide an assessment report about the student by the end of placement?
could you please assist me in this regard?
