I've seen Niahlator, Niatross, Jenna's Beach Boy, Some Beach Somewhere, but I've never seen a horse with more desire to win. Two broken legs and breaks the world record. Beautiful horse. In my opinion the greatest harness horse and driver of all time.
Every time I watch Always B Miki race I'm just blown away by his long legs and how he uses them, especially his forelegs---they're powered by those massive shoulders and he just sends his feet as far out straight in front of him as those long legs go, and grabs the dirt with his powerful "arm" meat to keep going! The other horses lose forward motion as they curve their forelegs down toward the track, or maybe they do reach straight but their legs & bodies are smaller & less powerful. Some of his opponents take more steps to the quarter but their conformation just can't take them there. Wiggle It Jiggleit is a classic case--he busted ass, was so game and gallant, but he was littler and his pace action wasn't *quite* as V8 as Always B Miki's was.
That maybe the dumbest comment ever!!!!! He's the only horse in history to ever do it..Sham was right there with Secretariat in the first two legs of triple crown in world record time..And Secretariat was a super horse..Just cause some1 was close at the end dont mean shit
Ray Gordon Teaches Chess no a 1.46 isn’t impressive. I guess secretariats races in Kentucky derby and Preakness weren’t that impressive since sham also set a record.
He won over 5,000 races and over $100 million. Maybe not in the top 10, but NOT a no driver? I could think of a couple horses I saw race who I thought were the best ever, and 1 of them had a so-so driver who just happened to be liked by the owner. Always wondered how much more a Campbell or O'Donnell could have done, but then, when a horse is a super horse, I really don't think the driver means nearly as much. They mean MUCH more on raceway horses than the best horses where trip means much more.
