Nice job Joesph! This is going to be so helpful for those of us practicing at home. My favorite is your in person workshops. You are an awesome teacher!
I love it, brother.I love it.Good for you.I hope to one day accomplish that same goal.. I truly dream that. I have enjoyed watching people like Brahm Bevins and it truly took me to another level. I would love to be able to be able to be able to share what bob has done with people and have the propper paperwork and references to back it up. Wonderful. GREAT JOB
Thanks so much! This was super informative, you went into so much detail on the techniques. I've only done 4 paintings so far, so I'm excited to try another!
Thank you so much. I remember what it was like when I started. I had so many questions. It is my goal to answer all of the questions I possibly can. Many more videos on the way, stay tuned. Happy painting!
Did you mean just the fan brushes were synthetic? Or did you really mean what you said when you stated all the brushes that you are using (including the 1" and 2" etc brushes) are synthetic hair?
@@thebeatenbrush Thanks for getting back to me with your answer. Now I am a bit more perplexed. Bob in Season 1 Ep 13 said he only recommended natural bristle brushes (hog hair). This was in opposition to Nylon bristle. He made no mention of synthetics like polyester or synthetic blended with natural bristle in that episode. So, I guess, changes in paint and synthetic bristle and synthetic with natural bristle technology, or efforts to make more money, they (BRI) changed what they recommend/offer. What is your opinion/experience on the matter. Thanks again for the tutorial and your response.
@@lancesnider5626 In season one Bob was just getting started with the Joy of Painting and developing the paints and brushes to his preference. I have no doubt that there were numerous advances down the road during Bobs career. BRI now uses a blend of natural/ synthetic bristles for their landscape brushes. I have no issues with the brushes they are putting out now and they are all that I use.

I’m sorry, my brain was going faster then my mouth. Lol. ALL of the Bob Ross landscape brushes are a mixture of natural and synthetic bristles.
