    Before you even spoke, your natural beautiful showed through.. I am sorry people judged you for the mere color of skin, for being different. We all are, and I am glad you can now stand proud. A beautiful woman, with a beautiful story. Stay strong, stay as God made you to be.

    She is the most gentle, humble, vulnerable person I have seen, and very beautiful. I don't see her race. Her race is what makes her beautiful and unique, but it does not define who she is. She has such a unique beauty, inside and out.

    this video really hits home for me. i'm a half asian athlete bound for D1 athletics as well and all through my younger years in white schools i felt this exact same way until i truly embraced the love of God and began to love the uniqueness he gave me. i'm also from texas like her!

    Wonderful story! God has truly been working in your life. Even though I'm african american, I've had my struggles with going to a predominately white high school and currently college right now. All in All, God places me in these out of the ordinary environments because he wants to teach me and show me his love in many ways. Again Your story was awesome and I pray that God may continue to bless you for your faithfulness.

    Wonderful testimony! How come color has so much to say? Why can't we just see what God sees in us? I'm white, but I've never really thought much about what skin color my friends have. I have mostly white colored friends, but among my closest friends I have black friends and asian friends as well as white friends. God is the same! And He loves us just as we are; He created us that way - so we should be happy with ourselves and each other too!

    Beautiful testimony of embracing your uniqueness. I was also adopted in South Korea to Korean family and when I came to America, I also struggled with the way I looked. Kids made fun of my eyes. However after being filled with the love of Christ, I found my identity in Him. I have embraced my uniqueness to Glorify God by loving others.

    you are soo beautiful if anyone is struggling with skin color issues and such think of it this way You are Created in God's Image If he made everyone beautiful God could have been brown he could have been any color he wanted to be. we are created in God's image and he is beautiful so that means we are beautiful no matter what color our skin is we are all the same in God's eyes. God loves everyone

    God Bless You Christine, its often hard to understand "being different" in the eyes of Christ - a better word to use for it is "unique", cherish that which God has given you to be you - "We Are Second So That The Saved Are Safe", through Christ, he who is first - we are given his peace which he leaves for us, to form a foundation for future lives undreamt of, but hoped for, and loved all the same - unique lives like yours Christine ❤ tTt ❤

    mikemfd232 I've been a Christian for 19 years, well maybe there is a whole there due to the point that I lost faith. In those total years I've doubted: God's exists, the Bible and believed the contradictions in it, basically lost faith completely and turned to porn and TV as a teen. Let me see, oh yeah I've almost killed myself because I thought God was giving up on me or gave into the fear that He did not love me. I've actually almost killed myself twice--the recent one was because allowed fear to completely take over my mind and heart. I looked for things to kill myself and found a broken piece of glass and then put it up to my neck. Said, "Goodbye cruel world". Then there was this voice (couldn't here it well) but it was like this voice was telling me to, "STOP!" Then my body jerked--twice it did. The piece of glass dropped, and then I fell down crying. God then was speaking to my heart as I had tears in my eyes and recently He's been leading me to the Psalms.
    This happen recently, yet Jesus has done so much in my life and I'll provide more proof He does exist. Ok, once in my darkest of times God sent a rainbow and said the following: "David, I know things are hard for you now. But you see that rainbow? It is a reminder of my faithfulness; therefore, I am going to bless you and do something beautiful in your life". He has actually done that, and to top off I doubted that promise so asked God in prayer if He could send me another rainbow to confirm it. What do you know! Next week he sent me another rainbow--I even have a picture to prove it, if you want to look at it. :) So explain to me how that just happens? Simple luck maybe? And even if just the weather sent the rainbow, though how could I know about one coming a week before it came? Hmm, explain that?
    Ok example two, once I really worried about something. This random guy drives up in his car and says hi. Then he says: "I feel like the Lord is telling you not worry about that. And have the David kind of faith, and do whatever God wants you to do." At the time my goal was to attend a college, and my mind was else where. Funny thing too, God calls me "David, son of John, the man after His own heart". Two points: How did this man know I was worrying about something even though my facial expression shown nothing to imply it? And how did He know before hand that God compares me to King David? Hmm?
    I think brother, it is easy to give up faith in Him, and throw away the Bible. Everyone doubts--the only thing waiting for us is forever fire and pain in Hell.
    There is historical proof that many Biblical accounts did happen, people have seen heavenly beings, people have testimonies of seeing God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and heaven itself. The stories don't just exist in modern times but stories of this sky God people call Him, rescuing people, healing people when it seems earthly impossible, words from scripture that the timing just seems too perfect and too true. I think God has made himself very known--but like the people in the Old Testimony--we are too stubborn to believe. What does it take for you believe? I pray God uses what it takes to have you believe--and you better be afraid the lengths He will go to do that.
    "The battle is the Lord's!"

    Discrimination as she describes happens far too often, more often than most like to believe or even admit to. Sadly it even happens by people who themselves claim to be Christians. When we all know thats not possible. Her story while very touching isnt shocking. But at least she found God out of her experience, that doesnt happen in this situation most of the time, usually it just builds resentment .So I guess its safe to assume the guy was a wimp & dumped her because of his family.

    This is going to sound bizarre, but, and I'm not kidding, I was terribly sensitive and very insecure about being a pale white person. I'm older and far more mature in my Christian faith so I've moved on - I joke about it now, but it was an aweful, terrible insecurity of mine growing up. I wonder if any other red-heads can relate (I'm actually a brunette, well bald now, but pale like a typical red head)?

    If we talk about eternal wisdom-
    Where did god get his wisdom from:
    1. he created it?(prone to error or question)
    2. something else taught god? (not all knowing)
    3. Abstract logic and reason(i.e.- 2+2=4)-god wouldn't be needed in this example
    4. ??

    1 cont) which to me means that what Hitler did really wasn't wrong in the Grmn group at that time, only wrong to the Am group & there are a lot of people who are educated on "right" and "wrong" and still don't do it ex. Hitler's scientists, enron ceo
    2 tarot card reading and astrology is rampant especially in asia so u have ur work cut out for u and if Christianity is simply based on feeling and not faith & reason then I can understand it being sumthin that doesn't seem plausible.

  • @santokisem

    @mikemfd232 mb I need to reply 1 last time
    1 A LOT of catholicism is NOT what Jesus taught therefore NOT entirely Christian, learning church hist. makes this obvious & when I say "Christian" I mean a Christ follower not simply a denom follower; sec wstrn values are born out of the JudChr. worldview
    2not moderate I'm cons, I have no problem listening to others but I also search for truth & defend what I believe but I do more so with others that call themselves Chr rather than non-Chr

  • @BitcoinWillFixEverything
    @BitcoinWillFixEverything 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Pursuing god? I'm afraid you have a lot to learn about being a skeptic. For example, which god should one pursure? There are many popular gods, most likely you pray to the one that the majority of your country subscribes to. That seems like flawed reasoning. I chose to read the bible to find truth and wisdom that goes beyond bronze-age intelligence. I urge you to ask yourself if you believe in god because of social pressure, or because you are sure the myth is true.

      mikemfd232 great question

  • @BitcoinWillFixEverything
    @BitcoinWillFixEverything 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why does god even have to enter into this conversation? People are ignorant about the world they live in, and feel threatened by people who are different. Education will help to bring about change, not belief in an imaginary god. It's time to stop believing. MY life has improved in so many ways, and brought so much peace to me once I learned the history of christianity, myths, and the failure of prayer. Let's turn to reality and education why we feel what we feel,and not call the unknown 'god'.

  • @Punisher4bmw

    1. Knowledge of ethics doesn't translate to an "ought" for people to do something ethical.
    2. if you don't believe... fine... but stop being religious about it and stuffing your beliefs into other people's faces... iamsecondHQ isn't trying to force themselves on you so chill out. if you don't like it, skip it.

  • @santokisem
    @santokisem 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    @mikemfd232 so ur obviously set in what u believe as I am so I'm just going to reply 1 more and then leave it at that:
    1. The moment u said that God doesn't exist u made a truth claim against His existence. The good of the tribe sounds like ur implying a socio-biological survival of the fittest individuals by the survival of the group but that only means that each group subjectively creates their own ethic that they enforce w/in the group and any outside judgments can't be suported

  • @BitcoinWillFixEverything
    @BitcoinWillFixEverything 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    @santokisem To address briefly:
    1. This is not a case for/against god. And ethics DO imply ought, for the benefit of the 'tribe'.
    2. I would attack astrology or tarot card reading as vigorously as I do religion if either were as prevalent and ruining the world. For instance, politicians let the bible shape their policy, especially on stem cell research. I was a believer for nearly 40 years and understand how hard it is to let go of the notion of god, having 'felt' him at times.

    did u ever considering persuing God, and not getting caught up in the motions of mass?

  • @mdcampbe
    @mdcampbe 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    catholicism isn't Christian, and stating that God is "petty and jealous" is no more factual than saying that He is love. the fact that u didn't catch that suggests that u probably haven't thought all this through enough to speak authoritatively on bigger concepts---like eternal wisdom. So until uv taken the time to understand God -- as opposed to catholicism -- u should probably spend more time thinking...and less time condemning. pls respond with whatever uv got though, questions r welcomed.

  • @Punisher4bmw

    then why do you come to a christian video where people talk about god and how he changed their lives if you dont belive in him or say that he is evil and crap like that man is evil the devil is evil but how can god be evil ? because he killed once the evil men of earth and regreted it and promised to never do that again then he sen his only son to die for us instead look around you if sin doesnt exist and there is no god why is this world so F-up? how can u explain that?

  • @BitcoinWillFixEverything
    @BitcoinWillFixEverything 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yes, atheists do in fact require love, as do most humans. And saying 'god is love' is not factual. God is petty and jealous. And evil, read the bible sometime. Do you really believe that mary was a virgin? or that there was a global flood that was survived by only a handful of people? have you ever googled 'bible fallacies/contradictions'? I was catholic for over 30 years and can't believe i fell for that crap.

  • @BitcoinWillFixEverything

    She has a lot of hurt in her. A good therapist would help her heal much more than belief in a god. Christians and Atheists alike, can you give this a thumbs up if you agree? It may help others like her.
