This is by far the best Color Grading tutorial I've seen on TH-cam. I've been creating content for almost 2 years now and color grading has always been my weakness but you did a fantastic job on teaching us in detail. As a fellow creator I truly appreciate the videos you make and the amount of time you put in to. Thank You for helping us small creators.
BY FAR one of the most easily-understandable videos about premiere color tools. I just had all major questions I've ever had about the color grading space in premiere pro answered in about 20 minutes. I freakin love this. Thank you. It's like all the good info from all the lengthy explainer videos summed up into one, non-annoying masterpiece. About color grading. Thank you. Did I say thank you? THANK YOU
You are the best tutor ever. Whenever I am struggling with something on Premiere I come here and my problems are solved. Simple and easy to follow tutorials. Thank you and thank you.
As a fellow TH-camr Editor been editing for over 10 years I really appreciate this video! For some reason color correction is something that I have never been a fan of, you explained in a very simple way! And you did a good job incorporating the Loupedeck product as well! Keep up the good content!
@@PremiereGal Thanks! I sure will! I'm new to the "TH-camR EDITING" niche so I would love to learn more about the community and learn from more experience TH-camrs like yourself!
@@hburke575 If you are asking me, I specialize in editing TH-cam videos for Popular TH-camrs. I have done films, TV shows, commercials etc. But I currently only work with TH-camrs.
@@DanielFriedman1 oh, I just got out of school and was looking for job ideas. I'm practicing editing on videos I put on TH-cam now. But I was wondering how you go about getting jobs in editing 🙂
The way in which you have you have taught this tutorial is really clear and precise. You don't find many teachers on TH-cam that teach your way. Thank you for the lesson.
I've been looking for a tutorial on Premiere Pro color correction/grading, as great in detail as yours, as descriptive as yours! You are my life savior:) Thank you for this great tutorial!!
Thanks for taking time to post this video and explaining every single detail. I learned a lot from this video than my entire watch history on color grading from others. Great content.
I would like to thank you for a very useful guide on how to use the color settings in the Lumetri color panel and in the Lumetri scopes. You are the best.
You are so good in your explanations, this video is so important to me, Thank you for making it to us, I have the intention of giving a jump in my editing skills, and color correction is something I need to improve a lot, and your video is a reference to me, I watched several times, and will keep its link, because I know I will need it more several times in the future, Thank you again for your generosity
Really clear & to the point. Most useful colour grading tutorial I have found so far. Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I'll be sure to watch your other content.
Great tutorial - as are all your videos. I would like to know more about colour grading when you have a range of different footage - ie shot on different cameras. And in vastly different light conditions. I am currently editing such a video and trying to make it all hang together is proving challenging. Thanks Kelsey.
Excellent tutorial, Kelsey! I've been using Photoshop for almost 20 years but new to Premier. There's a lot that transfers form PS to Premier but it's easy to miss some of the things that don't transfer well. You explain things very well and make it seem simple. Thank you!
wawuu thank you very much, your explanation is just like boom!!! I was limping with something with curves but you explain it so so so wawuuuuu! I get it and love it, you are one of the best!
Super helpful! I’m new to video editing and Premiere and the whole color grading thing is pretty frightening. I feel like I can go in and start to play now. Thanks for another great video!
Very cool video, Picked up a ton of tips that will no doubt be a huge help to a rookie like me that has never done much grading but I might get more into it now that I understand it a lil bit better. Thanks Gal, YOU ROCK! ! !
Hello. I love this video. Thank you so much for explaining this. I am ready to try color grading. I have one question. Could you help me find the sony input luts? You say they offer them for free like the ones you found for your Red camera? I have a Sony A6400. Thank you once again!
Thanks so much, madam...but I'm a bit confused here...in your previous video you used the creative color that's the RGB curves when correcting the video...and in this video, you used the Exposure, contrast, white, highlight, etc.. Please can you explain to me the difference I really love your teachings
i appreciate this video tutorial, but as a beginner in premier pro honestly the pip of the loop deck was distracting and confusing since i don't have loop deck and i am still trying to understand the premiere pro interface with my mouse
Hey there Kel. Been stressing about color grading as filmmaker/editor, but this video made things way much better for me. I have a question, how can I color grade a video that is already high in contrast/exposure (when they are around 90 in lumetri scope) I'd really appreciate your help on this 🇿🇦
Thank you for the great video. What is the overall experience with the loupedeck Ct? I am getting many different mixed feedback messages from latency to complexity in getting this device set up and to preference of former versions like loupedeck + or live.
thank you so much your tutorials are the best and no nonsense. I learned a lot on sound correcting and also color grading today. I will definitely try it, one question is it necessary to have the creative LUT added or I can skip it and play with the curve, hsl colors etc to create my own.
It's not necessary! You can definitely use the curve and hsl to make your own grade. LUTs are just fast ways to bring in your color for specific camera profiles.
But would you honestly recommend Resolve as the "heavy lifter" when it comes to grading? Like, that is the program you graduate to, after acclimating with the theories and basics in PP (again, when focusing on grading)?
Its really great tutorial, but i have a sample request to you that plz make some video In which more clips specially clips from marriage, because thats clip have more people with more colours and its difficult for us to use this techniques ...
Hope this helps you become a pro in color! Remember there are time chapters so you can review any section you like ;)
I was literally searching this for months ! Thanks a lot!

It’s crazy how similar color grading is to recording and mixing in a DAW.

i appreciate this video tutorial, but as a beginner in premier pro honestly the pip of the loop deck was distracting and confusing since i don't have loop deck and i am still trying to understand the premiere pro interface with my mouse
Just use the sliders directly in the Lumetri panel with your mouse instead of using dials in the loupedeck.
nice color:)
Thank You💯 Gal..🥺🥺
U R AWESOME 🥰
That was fab, thank you!
more color grading please
Downloaded RED Lut from your link.. but while importing it does not provide the same lut options as you shown here

When did YT get the Chapters panel? Looks really nice.
Been around for a while now, not sure when!
does anyone else have issues with the colour grade looking way off and slightly desaturated when the video has been exported?
