The Blagdon Midipond 20,000 is a great bit of kit for the price, pair it with an amphibious IQ and you’ve got yourself a cracking set up for about £500. Easy set up and easy to maintain. If you want something very easy that your parents could look after themselves then maybe look at the Clean Pond Machine. You just twist one knob and spin a handle and it cleans it all out for you. Takes ten minutes once a month.

Yes we did, plenty of frogs in this pond and 2 smooth newts. They all go back in the pond once we finished. Some frogs even crept back in before we’d finished!
He’s doing great. I don’t keep him anymore though, I gave him to a young lad who was getting in to fishkeeping! Got to get the next generation interested ❤️

What happened to the frogs?
They either hop away on their own or we move them in to the bushes near the pond. They come back on their own once we have left.
