Great episode. I'm glad you're doing another series. A small note: you don't lose the game if you lose all your investigators at once. It's simply 4 doom and you pick 4 new investigators. Unless the old one has awoken. It's totally possible to come back from that rumor (or any of the others that do the same thing when they go unsolved). There would be no point to the rumor's specific text. There are already rumors that simply cause you to lose the game. Thanks for doing another series, Cheers!
Great episode! Played this myself yesterday ... and lost in the last possible moment. -_- Mystery no. 3 had been solved, but I still had to survive the mythos phase (only one mythos card remaining). During the phase, reckoning effects were triggered, which activated a rumor that made me discard a mythos card. As there were no mythos cards left, I lost the game -> aaaaaarrrgh! I really like Eldritch Horror, but in 50% of my plays those frustrating moments / phases arise that really spoil the fun (yesterday was not too bad, at least it was really tense; but your last playthrough is a good example). To me, Arkham Horror is much more consistent in its "fun-level", and that's one of the reasons why it's still the better game in my opinion. Keep it up, I have a feeling that you'll make it this time!! :)
+Fred Ink yes, I agree with you...but they improved it quite a bit by introducing the Focus mechanic. Now you have a little more influence on your luck :)
+callasmar Yes, you're right, that was a great addition. But there is still the mythos deck. With the "right" (rather wrong) combination of cards, the game can basically be lost right from the start - you just don't know it yet and it's absolutely frustrating to find out. Sure, this might also happen in AH, but somehow in EH the mythos cards seem to hate me much, much more. ^^ Anyway, I still love this game (it incorporated my favorite Lovecraft story, Mountains of Madness, in a great way and I will always give it Kudos for that!), but I guess it is some sort of abusive relationship ... :D
As always good job, both video and playtrough. Please, oh PLEASE... Make the whole Arkham Horror video series, with all the expansions. Or maybe... With all the expansions at once... (muahahahaha
Even with those nasty rumors - things are going much better than last time. An easier enemy and four investigators (instead of three) has to make for a more enjoyable experience than the previous game's torture... Regardless of the final outcome...
You.need to go to a building supply store and buy some nice moulding to match your dice tray and glue it around the top third of your tray..it will keep those nasty dice from flying all over the place. ;)....
Enjoying the series but I think you can shave off a good 15-20 minutes off the time by getting rid of all the dead silence and pauses. Not even William Shatner pauses as much as this.

+Anthony Petruccione Ah, I see..I thought, maybe it would make sense if you have an ability or spell that prevents the loss of health...
Great episode!

+Fred Ink Well said. And agreed! Still much prefer AH over EH.
+Fred Ink Stockholm syndrome. ;D
+Death Metal Board Gaming Hahaha, that's got to be it! :D

45:45 I am not sure if you could use that idol right there(time might be a bit off), or maybe I wasn't paying attention.
+entropino yes...you´re right...at that moment I thought it was one of these "rest and test" items ;)

+Jack Dancer absolutely...definitely more interesting!

+JPFalcononor yes...I already thought about this....
As a stop gap, you can simply place the game box or smaller box if necessary behind the tray for a temporary fix
Did you remember to place the clue tokens for the last myths card? Also there is a clue token hidden behind your monster bowl. Good luck :-)
+thebobymon not sure....the one behind the bow are the discarded ones :)
Wow. You got two very bad rumours one after another there. This game can be so brutal. Eeeek! Good luck!
+Catweazle Thanks!
Are you sure you are correct with your combat rolls, at 57.12 you only rolled 1 success, shouldn't you have lost 1 sanity?
+bulit4pablo Yep, it seems you´re right...I´m afraid, it´s a little to late now though. :(
+callasmar lol great play through as always :)
