Is there a way to have a background graphic on the lower third that is different from the full screen graphic on the in-house screens?

Just need to be on the same network and the NDI option will work correctly. We use it on a Windows device for Pro Presenter Presenter and Wirecast on a Mac

We just have both computers on the same IP range and then they can find each other. If you want to limit what can see each of the devices you could setup the tech computers onto their own range that way office computers can't see the tech ones without knowing the specific IP's.
Lets say i have sunday school laptop on our wifi they want to present ppt or youtube to our pp7 that sends to wall over projectors, what ndi tool to use to do it?
Hi, i find your videos very helpful! I was able to successfully make this happen on my old set up of a 2014 mac mini to windows 10 pc but i recently got a new mac mini newest gen and it doesn't seem to be working properly. Any help?
Hi. Try the software called NDISyphon which can transfer the Syphon signal from your Mac mini into NDI. Now your PC can be able to locate it. HTH

If I have one Mac that runs propresenter and another Mac that has wirecast, will I still be able to connect the propresenter lyrics to thy wirecast program as long as both computers are on the same network?
Yes, keep in mind that there could be some lag depending on the lan connection that your using. It should be more then fine on most networks with a gig connection. We have not noticed anything on ours yet. We are going from Windows to Mac

Yes they have a ndi module but don’t believe you can buy it anymore. It’s under Preferences on the far right. The new version has all of that built in though which is a big plus to it.
@@ChurchMediaProduction we are using two 27" iMac's one for PP and one for Wirecast, what is the best way to connect them to try this? I was about to dump everything on our live stream computer but that is really going to mess with my volunteer training etc.? I have both computers hard wired into cat6 connections to a hub in our production booth, so they are both on the same network?
Will this work with 2 separate Mac? One for pro and one for live streaming.
Yes it will, we use a Windows Pc for pro and Mac for live stream.
What if you use 2 computer? Would it still work? We have run pro presenter and wire-cast different computer
Yes it should work the same way as long as they are on the same network. Let me know if you do have any issues with it.

You need to use NDI (or Syphon) to get alpha output, then in wirecast, add a keyer (alpha keyer) on that input.
Ndi is the easiest in the new version

Yes you are able to send to NDI with the ISO option. I have not used that too much though but it does show up as a option. Normally I use the normal recording when we need to save those files. Let me know if you have anymore questions and I can look into it some more.

You would connect the monitors like normal and then inside of the screen setup you can tell it what screens to display onto.

The process should be about the same, but you use add source and they should have a NDI option and then you can select the Pro Presenter feed from there
Is it possible to send the NDI out to my atem mini pro for the video switcher?
The atem mini can’t not receive ndi that I’m aware of, you would need a computer to send the output to the device. Could you just run a cable to the switcher and then send the video that way?

Hi Andrew, your videos have been extremely helpful! ! I also use Propresentor 7.8 and Wirecast 14 on a Mac, on the same network. We use it for lower thirds, message notes, and announcements for our livestream. Recently, I have been having an issue where Wirecast disconnects from Propresentor and no longer receives a signal within 1-2 hours. I set up the NDI connection according to your recommendations in tis video. The disconnect happens intermittently and reconnecting usually calls restarting both software causing interruptions to the livestream. Any thoughts on this? Has anyone in the community ever had this issue?
Both softwares are on the same device correct?
If not are you using WiFi or Ethernet? It possible you may need to set a static IP on your Propresentor computer.
@@ChurchMediaProduction Thanks for responding. Yes, both softwares are on the same device operating via an Ethernet connection. I'll looking into the static IP address and let you know if that solved the problem.
Both are on the same static IP address.
They both have the same? They need to each have their own address or that would cause issues. You can change the final number in the address as long as it's not taken by something else so if it's 192.168.1.1 you can make it 192.168.1.2
Are you using different computers for each application? I had this issue - we use a laptop for ProPresenter and a MacPro for Wirecast - our issue was a router issue! We run our PP7 NDI signal to our Wirecast computer through a Cat6 cable. We connect the Cat6 cable to the MacBook (PP7) computer to the network using a Belkin adapter from USB-C to Cat6 and the settings on that single network are set to be a manual address. It took me a week to figure this out (and had help from the folks at Telestream). Make sure you set your ProPresenter computer to a Manually set IP address. We have a wireless network that we need to use for our webcast and we like to keep the bandwidth available for the webcast so everything else is "hard wired." I hope this helps! It is frustrating and feels like a technical Voodoo curse when things are intermittent like that.
Hello, i have a unique set up for my churche's livestream. We currently use box-cast but they dont have great lower thirds options so the work around for us is wirecast. We send 4 video feeds through an oldschool mixer then to wire cast which is using syphonframe from propresenter. Then we send to box-cast. I would love to pick your brain on how to streamline this process. do you have contact info?

My NDI isn't showing as an input within wirecast. I have ProPresenter 7 and created it just like you did, and selected Alpha Key and everything. Then when I open wirecast there's no input for any NDI. I an using ProPresenter 7 on a iMac and Wirecast on Windows 10. Does that make a difference? They're both ethernet connections too. Sorry its just frustrating why it's not working.. :( Thank you!
That should not matter, I use Pro Presenter 7 on Windows and Wirecast on Mac with that and it works. You do have the toggle next to audience turned on? Both devices are on the same network and in the same ip range? I would check to make sure the Mac is not using WiFi as well if it’s turned on I know mine likes to default to that. When you say no input for NDI your talking about under network then ndi?

Yes both computers are hard wired and have the same IP address ranges starting with the normal 192.168.1... and I double checked and confirmed the iMac Wi-Fi is turned off. Yeah on the windows PC for Wirecast, under Network there is only siphon, Rendezvous, and a Remote option. No NDI options listed. Is there a way to get in contact directly with you rather than posting on this video? I can then send you a screenshot of my computer if that will help? Thanks!

Yeah you can that’s how we use it, just need to be on the same network for it to work.
Do I have to reconnect it every time I turn it on?
No you should not need to, only thing I do is make that layer live in Wirecast and it works.
What is NDI and how do you get signal to wire cast? A box of some kind?

I tried using one Mac book pro that has both Wirecast and ProPresenter and I could not get the NDI option. Is there another way to do it? I do not believe that the video mentions that someone requires to have 2 different computers in order to do so. I am trying to use just the one computer but it doesn’t seem to be working. Any assistance helps!
In the video I did it using the same computer. Is it just not giving you the option?
@@ChurchMediaProduction yes the option of NDI is not showing up. I tried it with one Mac that has ProPresenter and another with Wirecast and it still did not work. We were both on the same internet connection
Are you on the most recent version of Pro Presenter 6? It should show there under screen configuration when you click new screen

It should still work the same as long as both devices are on the same network. Let me know if there’s any issues!
What about wire casting and sermon with lower thirds?
This would work with message notes or verses, in it's current state as we made it anything that is sent to the screens will also be sent to the lower thirds.
Has anyone had issues with the NDI connection using a crazy amount of CPU?
I have not noticed anything as of yet, are you just sending text?
