It’s sad that this stigma is there for mothers and not fathers who leave.
I get that there are places and even people who seem to make a big deal about people coming from a single parent household, but I have to say WHO CARES. Whether you have one parent or two does not determine the kind of person you grow up to be. There are some that are raised by one parent that turn out to be great people and some that grow up in a home with both parents that turn out to be failures and/or real low lifes.
With so many of these stories coming from Asia, especially Japan, does anyone know what the cultural foundation is regarding the prejudice against single parent households? I am 65 and my parents divorced when I was 7. While my mother had custody, my father was still very much in my life.

Many women in this world are single mothers, with husbands cheating and leaving, also some leave cause they don't want responsiblities for the wife and kids and so on. So they stay with the kids and raise them with their jobs and some don't get help from the fathers. These women should be praised and listed as remarkable women. It's not easy to raise a family on your own, work, cook, clean, laundry etc. so you see they are amazing. Keep up the good work women your are great. Be proud of yourselves.🎉💯🥰♥️
These videos must be produced by a Japanese company. Single mothers are still stigmatized in Japan, but in the U.S., since almost half of all babies are born out of wedlock, such an attitude against single mothers becomes truly ludicrous.

My last long-term relationship ended with her passing. As much as i wished different, there was nothing i or anyone could do to stop it or even ease her pain
@@chrismc410, yes, this attitude is unfortunate. While there are bad consequences from so many out-of-wedlock births in the U.S., no one person should be judged. Especially not a widow or a mother who divorced her husband for good reason, or was abandoned by her husband.

Something that I find very neat about these stories is the profile pictures giving subtle characterization.
Andrea’s profile picture is of a T-shirt that reads “Mothers. Daughters. Visionaries. Queens. Rulers. Women.” Pretty ironic since she has such negative opinions toward single mothers.
Maia, Julia, and Jessica’s pfps are presumably of themselves. Pretty women, but they have that toxic energy. Maia’s specifically is a recurring one used a lot for the female antagonist.
