Case Study of Restoration of former Grapes Hotel, Whithorn as

All Roads Lead to Whithorn (Community Development Trust) and SOSCH worked in partnership to secure community ownership of the former Town Centre hotel, internally derelict for in excess of 30 years. The property has been redeveloped as two large affordable family homes, with planning consent secured for further housing on the land to the rear. The project, located adjacent to the local primary school, has provided much needed affordable housing for rent in this rural community.
