My responce: "you're saying you cant groove with consistant time?" I really believe drummers should learn to play absolute solid time and then learn to adjust to playing ahead of the beat or behind the beat to create the feel...all while not speeding up or slowing down. #embracetheclick! And with playing with sequenced tracks so prevalent in modern music learning to play to a click is more important than ever for the aspiring drummer.
