Stone is such a swift guitar player, definitely one of the most underrated rhythm guitar players and especially in this song shows how important Jeff is as he skips along throwing his bass around lol
Although a rocker at the time, Pearl Jam passed me by. Just bought Ten last year. Such a great album and so easy to see how they struggled to better it.
@@markwright8118 I actually love that moment because it showed how essential and underappreciated bass is, it sounds like a completely different song without it.
Beautiful song !!!!!🥰 a total beautiful deep emotional wonder, so heartfelt and intense that it makes me almost “cry” each time that I hear it on the radio, and then I hum it in my mind (as a girl, with my high voice, doesn’t turn out the same!!!, Eddie is a MASTER of putting musical accents on words and a rocking pace of his songs (nowadays, crazy !! I literally thought that it was recorded about recently !!! Haha - Pinkpop festival 1992, similar to “Fell on black days” by Soundgarden, I thought they were all their “new” songs, Eddie was so YOUNG when he wrote such a good piece !!!! 👏🏻 bravo 👏🏻) oh gee, how LOVABLE Eddie Wedder is !!! I think that he’s the 1) BEST 2) most cute/good-looking, just awesome rock vocalist of ALL TIMES, I simply get lost in emotion (I’m 30 sth, when this was performed I was 6 yo, I wasn’t a “fan” of big, nice (not “bad”) rock music of this In Real Time - I get this from the radio, when I hear Pearl Jam songs (on the radio, it’s crazy how often they do that, to the point that Jeremy got completely mundane and boring, i heard it a million times, but “Once”….. is a masterpiece !!! (Similar to Daughter, I love it how Eddie “rocks” his voice is just so cool ) Eddie Wedder I love you 💕❤️😘 🤟🏻 😍 you’re the BEST!!!! You rock, your music beat EVERYONE: the Pumpkins, everyone. The BEST song ever, not only of the era, just EVER, there wasn’t anything better since, truly. Also how charming it is when Eddie goes into this nice scream, that doesn’t turn out wild/crazy/or metal (and his “yeahs”)
4:13 the bear .. that blue bear.. it made me cry .. and panic ... fml.. why do chunks of my life go missing and pop up and something else goes missing .. and that bear ... has my head screaming a language I don't phuquin' know.
Dave Krusen(drummer, go watch him in the famous "Even Flow" video) goes underappreciated in the early success of Pearl Jam (3/5 Mother Love Bone) to Matt Cameron. Sorry, Matt. You're good, but just playing what Krusen had already mastered with the others. No offense man, I just find it a travesty what happened between Krusen and the band.
Those young guitarists in the band were also really good !! Especially at the beginning of the song it’s not just same noise-making, it must be the red-long-haired buddy on the left side with the orange 🍊 Gibson (or maybe it’s just many fast-progressing chords) who plays a pretty sensible “riff” here, better than Kirk Hammett (I usually get annoyed by guitar solos, can’t listen to them). This is much better than Metallica, ah Pinkpop 💗, oh right !! They went to Holland !! Many teens came
The man just goes insane when he gets on stage! Love the emotion in his voice 🤙
No he doesn't he a nice man
yeah, he acts kinda crazy on stage... but shy in interviews it's funny
When you pay the bills at the age of 15 you become Eddie Vedder. He would fall asleep in class working jobs.

Eddie Vedder rules the 90s. The essence of all creation of mankind
A message to the future generations: "DON'T LET THIS SONG DIE" 💞👌😊👍
Pearl Jam best song ....
This is pinnacle Pearl Jam! The PJ I remember and love, as nothing past Vitalogy speaks to me like this does - they are night and day different now

Legendary concert!
Absolutelly
0:52 I like how forgets the lyrics in order and looks back knowing he messed but it’s all good he finished it like a pro.
He is looking for the bass player, rsrsrs
@@fernandobernardodesouzanet9512exactly … problem with the bass, he has to change it, then kicks in at 1:09

Should have showed Mike M. during the solo
I love stones groovy moves, but they needed to pan the camera more to McCready lol

Your out of your mind
Are these different guitarists? I thought they were just mike and stone
@@MasonVisit's mike and stone
Eddie Vedder looks like a male version of the brunette chick in Sex and the City
industry plant
If they are then I'm not complaining
