If you're going to listen to all of the albums in order you should listen to some live versions in between. The live performances are a whole other world!

The band was formed in 68 by founding member guitarist and producer Jimmy Page who recruited Robert Plant the 19 year old singer, and his long term friend and colaborater drummer John Bonham and Bass guitarist and key board player John paul Jones. they had all been involved in music and bands fromtheir early teens and were inspired by American rock and roll and blues artists. They had an encyclopaedic knowledge of music. Page and Jones had been session musicians in London throughout the sixties during the British invasion periode of bands and page had then been in the Yardbirds and was seasoned touring in America and was very well known and regarded. they had experienced friction in bands between the players and the record companies and management who wanted repetative commercial singles. So Page self funded the first album without a record company involved and refused to release singles so all the tracks on the albums were equally important. All four members are equally talented and there is a magical chemistry between them and that is why this album is so good. They split up following the tragic death of john Bonham as they did not think he could be replaced. the other three members are all still alive and still involved in music they all had solo projects and some joint endeavours. They did a one off reunion concert ( 2005ish ) with john Bonham's son Jason on drums its called celebration day and you will want to look at that at some stage because its brilliant.
You should definitely do some of the live performances from this album Try How many more times ( Danmark radio TV recording) which is amongst the earliest footage of them ,Babe im gonna leave you is also filmed on that set, also i can't quit you baby the Live at Albert Hall version. Then there is dazed and confused which is really their signature track . they do do different versions every time they perform and you will only understand what JP is doing with the guitar by watching it - he uses a violin bow to get the sounds that were amazing you. you will want to see all the versions of that in time but it is done in both the two sets i've mentioned for a start. I liked that you did the whole album but sometimes reactors when they do that broadcast extemely annoying chopped up snippets of the songs so you might want to say on your thumbnail that you are broadcasting the entire songs. Good luck with your channel.

Inspired - in a big way - by black American Rhythm and Blues from the fifties - these poor English white boys electrified it, recomposed it sixties style and - wow. Talent with execution, improvisation and composition they took brilliant to another level.

Hey I didn't know you had this channel, but I used to watch on your other one, and I recognized you from the thumbnail picture. I am now subscribed to this one.
Anyway, yes, I watched this all the way to the end, and quite happily! Yes, to me this is most definitely one of the greatest albums ever, (and any competition for that would be perhaps only another Zeppelin album!), but this one is very near and dear to my heart, being the debut album, and thus the first one we heard. They absolutely blew our minds!
I enjoyed your reaction so much, and I'm so very glad you reacted to the whole album, and that you didn't chop it up to shorten the length of your video! Thank you so much for that!
I think you may be a Zephead, Slump, so I just want to welcome you! I really think you get it now!
As someone else said, you should consider reacting to some of the lives from this album before you move on to the second album. Someone suggested you some already, so I won't.
Thank you again, it was a real joy to listen to this with you! ☮️❤️

Congrats on doing it right! This was made in a time listening to a new record all the way in one setting was the way most people consumed music, so bands put a lot of thought into both the songs and the way they flowed through the album. Led Zeppelin also refused to release singles, so the fans got to decide for themselves what the best songs were! Believe it or not, they only get better as musicians. All 8 of their studio albums are incredible, with 1-6 almost universally considered masterpieces. It’s all worth your time!
