A Vision of the Future

Knowing that God thinks toward me gives me hope and a future.
Lessons learned:
God assures us, “I know the thoughts that I think toward you.” These words instill a level of confidence that surpasses any situation. If God demonstrates His favor toward the exiled Jews, how much more for the modern-day believer who places trust in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, the Son of God? The vision that the Prophet Jeremiah paints encourages present-day believers to remain faithful to the end, for the day will surely come when “Ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.”
My Prayer:
Dearest Heavenly Father, thank You for valuing us and giving us a future. We thank You for reconciling us to You. We ask that You help us accept our situation with the expectation that You have our best interest at heart. Wherever we face the uncertainty, we trust Your plan for our future for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
