You might get rusty and hold yourself back from going 100% effort on a kick, but its something your body doesnt forget after that much training, even if he hadent done one in years hed still be able to chop a normal guys legs in half. (Assuming he had the bone density still)

Absolutely. Thor is a Monster. We have many here in NZ. I went to primary school with an Pacific Island family the daughter was the shortest at 6.0" the tallest was the eldest brother at 6.9" he played Gridiron for Hawaii State University, he was on the training roster for 2-3 different NFL teams in the early 90's, but never played. I played Rugby League with the youngest he stood at 6.6" growing up together I was always taller & he was always short & round. We went to different secondary schools, at age 14-15 my friend grew. I remember jumping on the bus after school and having not seen my friend in about 3-4 years he had to crouch to fit under the doorway😁😂FYI their parents were both short.

Speed = power. yes. But. Huge but here. Kinetic force is just as devistating. Theres no diffence in a 90 MPH, 3 ton Porsche hitting a wall. And a 30 MPH, 80 ton 18 wheeler hitting the same wall. Force can be generated in a lot of ways. But i agree his coach is amazing lol.

I don't think he can have the speed with his size... He'd have to lose quite a bit of weight to gain speed. Right now he is far too lumbering. Obviously don't get me wrong, if we're talking a street fight and he gets hold of you, you're dead... But fighting competitively, I think he'd struggle. Imo anyway...

When you overskill strength and health at the expense of dexterity and stamina in a character - you get Hafthor. Bas, on the other hand, has been the perfect combination of strength, dexterity, health, stamina, intelligence and charisma.
What if this is his strategy? Practice kicks on video right quick and post it on the internet so Eddie thinks he's not training boxing and lets his guard down. Bass is pretty smart and he would know that if he was going to work with him he's not going to spend forever on kicks training for a boxing match. I think there's more to this.
Thor needs speed training. Restrictive snapping extension kicks. He's telegraphing his whole frame out and then in. He'd never make contact with his opponent.
If a guy like Thor wants to learn to kick ass, my vote would be to learn wrestling. With the explosiveness and power he has from strongman and powerlifting, even just moderate technique would be lethal.

Thors boxing is complete ass. I threw better punches when I was 10. And training in MMA is not gonna get you ready for a boxing match. They're completely different sports that focus on different techniques and rules. And Eddie's on the ball. He's not gonna get side tracked by what Thor is doing. Eddie wants this fight. He wants it more than Thor. Hes focused, he's hungry, and he's dangerous. He may not have the height and reach, but he's got power, speed, and endurance. Something Thor is struggling adapting to.
My coach demonstarted a kick right over my knee, while I held a pad. We dont know what happened, but an area on my thigh got really swollen for a couple of days. Never happened before and did not happen again.

I was at Bas’s fight against Warpath. I could hear the kicks from my seats, and my seats weren’t close to the ring.
