Oh my god I was so excited when I saw the video in my subscription feed. I'm totally in love with Natalie Dormer. Thanks for the video, and have fun watching the new season!
Beutiful video as all of yours are. I've had my hair style for prom ball inspired by this look of Magaery... And I personaly achieved those waves with rollers.
Maybe you could try keeping the hair on the iron longer then pinning the curl to your head to cool before brushing out? You can get a more defined wave like that.
I am in this Facebook group about Game of thrones and you can't imagine the exitment in everyone. One of Shakespeare's female iconic characters would be really nice, like Ophelia
In case ypu want to do more "Beauty Beacons of Fiction" videos I'd be very happy about something Tolkien related - Galadriel, Arwen or Eowyn, although you already did some of their hair styles (and Arwen's Make-Up) ages ago. Those videos were amazing, the Beauty Beacon series is amazing and together it'd be double amazing. :) Or - although she was never seen in the films - Luthien Tinuviel'd be great. I mean, she is like the brightest Beauty Beacon ever seen in Middle-Earth and Aman. :)
This is really amazing. That hairstyle looks a little intimidating, if one could spend the right amount of time to do it, pull the length up and it could be a good idea for an everyday look . Very classy , wonderful job !
Looks beautiful! I really love this fictional beauty beacons idea! There are so many great characters to choose from. Could you do Princess Leia, Galadriel, Juliet Capulet or Venus/Aphrodite? I always look forward to seeing your videos :)
i absolutely love this look! i wore it to school and got so many compliments. then i realized i forgot to add a comment and thank you for making this tutorial. you're the best :)
congratulations for your channel i just find it awesome. I would love to see catherine earnshaw from wuthering heights as one of your next beauty beacons! regards from Madrid!
in the excitement of GOT S6, please try to show us the Arya/Mercy parallel forward braid with braid buds. I imagine you're skilled in French braid, but I totally understand if the forward braid, from the nape, is tricky. If, however, you want to show us, one side should be enough for a tutorial. thanks
Hi! Great job, I’m gonna repeat this tutorial for sure:) which size of curling iron do you use btw? Also, could you please tell the size of curling iron which you used in Vivien Leigh video?
A lovely video, the show is terrible (possibly because the writers believe themes are 8th grade book reports), but the books are great. I used rag curls (overnight) brushed out to achieve a Margaery Tyrell curl/wave Beauty Beacon of history: Queen Elizabeth 1, Veronica Franco, Bianca Capello. Beauty Beacon of fiction: Petrarch's Laura, Dante's Beatrice, Boccaccio's Fiametta. (these were also real women so they could work for beauty beacons if you want to do another medieval look). truly fictional: Shakespeare's Ophelia, Juliet Capulet, Philip Sidney's Stella, Edmund's Spenser's Gloriana (aka the titular Faerie Queen) or Britomart (who is a lady knight like Brienne of Tarth, but beautiful because Spenser lived when tropes were being constructed rather than deconstructed) also by Edmund Spenser's Rosalind from the Shepheardes Calendar. Jacopo Peri's Dafne (first opera) or Euridice (first surviving opera), Emily St Aubert from the Mysteries of Udolpho by Ann Radcliffe, the titular Romola from Romola by George Elliot, Gwendelon Harleth from Daniel Deronda by George Elliot.
I just realized that you are probably the first person that I’ve ever seen that closely matches what Martin has described Lyanna Stark would have looked like. Not to mention, you look a lot like Maisey Williams. Perhaps you should do a video on Lyanna Stark.
what about for the next beauty beacon - Lida Baarova, a czech actress during the 30's (acting in german and italian movies also), accused of being the mistress to Goebbles during the 30's and 40's.. I would love to see the protectorate style!
I'm more waiting for TWOW, where characters aren't OOC, Ellaria isn't the opposite of her book persona, there is no Olly Chekov, Sansa is far away from Ramsay Sue and my King is alive and well, but Marg's hair is always so pretty.
So beautiful Lucy!!! I love it!
