I would like to know what the equation is for finding the tensile strength of fibers.

Greetings Engineering Study Guy: This is the second of your videos I've come across. I was looking for information on Carbon Fiber wrapping Resins and I came across this video.
More specifically; I'm looking for the appropriate or optimum type of resin for Carbon Fiber Wrapping rifle barrels where there is high heat to consider. After watching this video it also seems appropriate to ask you what type of Carbon Fiber you would recommend for wrapping Rifle Barrels where rigidity as well as high heat are to be expected?
Can you give me an idea of which of the Specialty Resins and Carbon Fiber types you've worked with that would be suitable or optimal for this application?
I have made a wrapping jig that I can use with my metal lathe in order to do the actual winding of the Carbon Fiber filament but at this point I am at a stand still due to my ignorance regarding the appropriate Resin to use. I will not be making tubes of any kind such as what is shown in this video. In the Rifle Barrel Wrapping application I am referring to the Carbon Fiber must actually be permanently bonded to the Rifle Barrel to take the place of the metal of the Rifle Barrel after the metal Rifle Barrel has been milled down on a metal lathe.
Any insight you can give me on the correct Resins and Carbon Fiber filament for such an application would be sincerely appreciated.
Also: I left a similar inquiry on one of your other videos. My apologies if I'm coming off sounding over-bearing.
