I didn't like the idea of powder coating those wheels, the method was madness in my opinion and possibly ruined the integrity of the wheels. The spokes have adjusters that tension, true and stabilize the wheel, if you have ever tried loosening or moving one that's powder coated you know how much of a mess it makes, never mind what will the heat do to spokes at +200˚C, surely they will stretch a little loosing tension in the process ? Personally I would replace or refurbish the spokes, if necessary have the wheels professionally rebuilt, seems like cheating coating over everything at once...
