For as selfish as Brooke is, this is where Nick went all wrong. Given the history between Taylor and Brooke, Brooke most definitely SHOULD NOT be a part of Jack’s life, though I know this changed later when Taylor gave up on him, never getting over Brooke’s involvement..... but in this episode he clearly showed no concern for his own family, wanting to involve Brooke. In spite of all Brooke had previously done, I think she and Nick were the better couple, but once she dumped him for Ridge, I was officially sick of her... and how the writers put this unnecessary misery on Taylor for no good reason. This was one of the worst B&B storylines of all time, along with having Taylor hit Darla.
@Sara Zimmermann I liked Nick and Brooke together too. The reason I say she is selfish is because she won't stay with one man. Bridgette loved Nick but Brooke had to have him. Stephanie loved Eric but Brooke had to have him. Taylor loved Ridge but Brooke had to have him. Bridgette loved Deacon but Brooke had to have him. Katie loved Bill but Brooke had to have him. Why? Because she is having feelings about a child?. How many people will walk away from their kid, no emotions, no feelings, no second thoughts. Jack is her flesh and blood, it's would have bee. Unrealistic and completely self of her to not have any emotions towards her own flesh and blood.
