Ok, those rotating bearings almost make me want to make the switch from N-Scale to HO-scale. It's that very close attention to detail I strive for in N-Scale.
Just wait they will probably go N scale like Athearn genisis did and you can bet that they will put that feature into those engines for sure
If *Pelle Søeborg* endorses this, that's enough for me.
Great video. This was very interesting and informative to this model. Ferromex is beautiful!!
Thank you very much! -Drayton
No había visto una locomotora tan pero TAN DETALLADA en escala HO, y menos con el esquema de Ferromex. ¡Simplemente EXTRAORDINARIA! 🙀
Saludos desde México.
Want to get me a Ferrowmax engine
The only thing missing is a bunch of illegals riding on top of the train.
Although normally I'm fans of GE locomotives, I'm not yet attracted to GEVO series locomotives 😁
Incredible release! Interesting in the camera angle used in Bill's lash-up. Made the long-hood forward shot look like an oversized SW1200!
I do like the es44 my favorite locomotives is both locomotives bnsf and Union Pacific c45ah and es44c4 I was planning getting those locomotives I’m doing ho scale
If Genesis went the same type of quality control. they would be a much better company to deal with. I think they may have forgotten who their bread and butter comes from. My next purchase will be a scale trains.
Thank you for your kind words of support. We really appreciate your business. -Drayton
I have just reserved a HO ES44AH CPKC #9375, in their new colours, I thought the new design didn't look to good, until the prototype hit the road,WOW, reading this article I am considering the other unit #4805, and delivery expectation in 9 months, I have been waiting 30 months for a Athearn CP (now CPKC) Hapag Lloyd paint job for 30 months
Dang, two days ago and the 8099 Southern is already sold out. Any plans to do another run?
Yes, in the future. -Drayton
Any plans for a Ferromex n scale loco? 😩
Imagine if a GEVO & an older Cab Unit worked together. That would be interesting.
I cant believe ST has no H3 painted BNSF ES44s. When is the next run?
What do you mean???? They already made those.
@@AbelG8781 I mean they have none currently in stock & have not announced plans for another run of them.
That's because we've done multiple runs with BNSF H3 paint. We'll offer them again at some point. -Drayton
Lol I had no idea that Drayton from Delay In Block works for a model railroad company. Makes sense though lol.
Nice. Can't wait to get my cp ac4400cw s on pre-order. Ferromex looks to be sold out
Good choice! Thanks for your business. -Drayton
Would be nice when the trains would be better available in Europe. Here it is always sold out…
Wow! The scale train locomotives are absolutely impressive, and the detail. Excellent
Still waiting on my pre ordered ferromex in the new scheme. Way overdue!
We promise that the models will be worth the wait. Thanks for your patience and business. -Drayton
@@Scaletrains doesn't take this long to build the real thing lol. Now, if it was a new NS paint scheme..........😂😅
Every once in awhile I pick up a Scaletrains locomotive and notice the locomotive has somewhat jerky erratic movement in either direction until about speed step 3 or 4. What is the best way to solve this?
@PantherLineProductionsofOhio If the engine is fairly new or hasn't been run in a while, give it a few minutes of runtime to let everything dial back in. Also make sure the wheels are clean, so the power-pack is getting adequate charge when underway. -Logan
Hi scale trains! I preordered the rivet counter Cpkc es44ac #9375! I can’t wait for it to arrive!
@stevealvarezii3156 We appreciate your business, and hope you enjoy the locomotive when it comes in! -Logan
I've just started watching the video. I've heard differing opinions on line and I'm thinking of trying one of these. But first impression at the start of the video is that the handrails look to be true to scale size, but they are very crooked and wavy which really detracts from the look of the model. Is there any option to get metal handrails that are scale size buy aren't so distorted or flimsy looking?
A vast majority of the handrails on the market these days are plastic, for ease of manufacturing and the ability to fit various locomotive bodies. We hope you'll give one of our engines a try! -Logan
@@Scaletrains Logan, thanks for the info. I finished watching the entire video and few others as well. It seems like overall, you're the top quality manufacturer - so congratulations on your success. I think I will give you a try and get myself a nice new CN power unit for my fleet. Thanks again
I have a jclass Northfork western with DCC and sound Value.!!!!!!!!!!!
I got 3 of the new ES44s these are probably the best Gevos i had as a modeler i have 2 of the NS heritage and a Citirail and very spot on locomotives very good weight good details and very smooth runners and great sounds Scaletrains knock the hinges off the door definitely a great models to have
Thanks for your business and kind words of support. -Drayton
@@Scaletrains no problem thanks for your fantastic models
Hey, ScaleTrains, I'll tell ya a little bit of a sad story:
When I first discovered model trains, the majority of the ones I wanted that were actually running near my hometown were sold out and too expensive. Like the NS Dash9-40CW for example. By the time I found out you guys made an ho one, it was sold out. This didn't just go for engines, but for all the liveries I wanted and all the train cars and shipping containers I wanted too. They'd either be $300 (extremely expensive for us) or sold out. No matter what scale.
Even the heritage units like (if you guys did, it's gone already) the 8104 Lehigh Valley heritage unit. Too expensive or sold out. And the train sets I'm seeing don't have enough of today's rolling stock and/or ANY ge locos, they'd all have the rare emd GP15-1 Engine's, instead of like a GE ES44AC.
As for this, can you make some intermodal train sets that include like 6 of the Articulated and single wellcars, plus the appropriate domestic container customers (like NS has JB Hunt, EMP, Hub Group, and Swift) and release a series called "Intermodal Plays Again!" And include the appropriate engines?
Like for example the NS one would be
NS GE ES44AC 8136, NS SD60E 6965, NS Dash9-40CW 9899, TTX 53' wellcars, JB Hunt, EMP, Hub Group, Schneider, Swift, Amazon, APL, KLLM, and Matson.
Can you make intermodal triple engine Domestic Container train sets that are like only $100? And sell on Amazon?
Do you guys plan to do anymore of the NS Hertiage units?
Yes, we plan to offer all 10 GE versions. -Drayton
I like the Rivet Counter Trains because of the detel in each.!!!!!!!!!
Great video. Mine run perfect.
Good to hear. Thanks for your business and kind words of support. -Drayton
Excellent work... In the future I would like to see scaletrains adapt ESU sound file/article # S0715 as the standard for the gevo prime mover. It is a much better match for a locomotive of this quality, and gives a much richer sound.
Send us an email and we'd be happy to provide you with the sound file. Support@ScaleTrains.com -Drayton
Brilliant video
Thanks for your kind words of support. -Drayton
You have awsome products
I know it was mentioned that early ES44s wouldn't be done, but has this changed now? I would love early CSX ES40DCs like the 5200-5500 Class
We plan to offer earlier versions down the road. -Drayton
@Scaletrains that is excellent news. When I started Railfanning around 2009-2010 those were the most common units I was seeing.
I'm on to my 6th engine now
What is 'rivet counter'?
It’s a higher quality/detailed series of their products
Worst experience to install a speaker on it. What a shit load
Email us next time via Support@ScaleTrains.com and we'd be happy to help you. -Drayton
now y'all just need to fix your UP yellow. looks horrible in person. doesn't match any other UP yellow from any other manufacture.
I'd like to encourage you to watch this video about how we select our UP yellow: th-cam.com/video/7rWdTVDVdsA/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
