Great video thanks. Check the red fuel tap flow on and off positions as you might have described it the wrong way around. Anyway, keep up the good work.
I hope KOVE comes to AUSTRALIA. Really like the AJP but at $20 000 not worth it. Price KOVE right and I think the brand will be a hit as long as reliability and quality control is there.
That oil is filthy! How did the fuel line go without the one way valve? I think without the valve and the tap open you are still going to have fuel level out between the front and rear tanks. Wish Kove would HTFU and get this and the 800 rally to Australia!
As always - great video. I am slowly recording all my testing of different ECU's and setups to make a hopefully educational video. Loving the Kove, haven't once touched my other bikes since I got the Kove 🙂 I have started a English Kove 450 Whats app group if you interested
Hi! How many horses are in your cKove 450 rally ? the Americans have 50 horses, but in Europe there are 42 horses, and how many horses can be increased with the help of firmware?
Heelo from Spain.I see you put 2,1 l of oil!!! With OEM cover and new filter I remember is 1.8L? So I must understand that the new cover has more capacity? You know that to much oil high the presure and that´s not goog for the engine.
@@facatube wrong, more oil isnt going to create more pressure, oil pressure is dictated by the oil pump, it will actualy run cooler oil since it has more capacity flowing true the oil cooler and cooling it down. And there are alot of people even with the stock cover that are puting the same amount +\-, all depends on how well you drain the oil, and if you soak the paper filter before for ex…
@@TheRide_Adv Wrong! Too much oil will damage the engine. The crank shaft will foam up the oil and thus, the oilpump won't work proporly as it can't keep up presure with oilfoam. The manual says 1,6 liters by oilchange and 1,8 liters by rebuild. I know it is a little on the low side. 1,8 liters is the right amount for me when i change the oil and filter. Nice work on your videos though.
@@K4Reventyr teoricaly your right, but remember by installing the larger crankcase the volume incresed therefore if you added the same amount as if it had the smaller volume (stock one) the oil level would sit low on the crank… so in reality the oil level is at where it should be but increased the capacity..
@@K4Reventyr yes it does and just by eye its noticable ( will try and show on another video) I even had to grind off a little bit of the back brake pedal for it to have some clearence if you saw that part..

All the beat at the rally, full gas and stay safe.
All good info, handy tips are the size of the fuel pipe so we can order a similar fuel tap, many thanks.

How's the boot clearance with the new gearbox cover?

How do you keep graphics from peeling off the fuel tanks?
They have to have micro perforations to prevent accumulation of the fuel vapor that goes through the sidewall of the tank.
