🔍10 जुलाई 2024 को सुप्रीम कोर्ट के दो जजों जस्टिस बीवी नागरत्ना और जस्टिस ऑगस्टिन जॉर्ज मसीह की बेंच ने फैसला दिया है कि मुस्लिम महिलाओं को भी अपने पूर्व पति से गुजारा भत्ता पाने का अधिकार है. दोनों ही जजों ने सीआरपीसी की धारा 125 का हवाला देते हुए कहा है कि सीआरपीसी की धारा 125 हर धर्म की शादीशुदा महिलाओं पर लागू होती है और मुस्लिम महिलाएं इस धारा से अलग नहीं हैं. सुप्रीम कोर्ट का ये फैसला 12 साल पुराने केस में आया है.

The man has done the wrong thing by giving her divorce, so he is the guilty party. Ok ? Then the punishment should be given to the man before the ex wife is ready to come back to him.
