Enjoyable video a great example of rotation with the first two hours spent working out what lines are going to be more productive late on .keep the videos coming most informative
Most enjoyable as usual mate. Been in flip flops for a week in france resulting in burnt feet and being beat up by big cat fish.Look forward to the next one.
I can imagine that nowadays there are probably more elastic brands than you can shake a stick at. Back in my day it was Zim elastic, sizes between 1 and 8 for most of my cut fishing, or for hauling big chub & tench away from far bank snags it was number 10 or 12 Middy Hi Viz, and for carp pools it was the same Middy Hi Viz 10 to 14 depending on the fish and conditions. Some of my favourites used to be Zim 1 for roach on joker - great fun when it's a decent stamp. Plus Zim 3 or 4 for hemp or caster roach. I wonder if they still make that stuff 👍
@@davebrownfishing That's a shame, although I expect materials would get better after nearly 25 years out of the game mate. Either that or they just rebrand it as summat else 🙄 If I was ever to start up again from scratch, I wouldn't have a fuckin clue what to buy 😆
Really enjoyed watching that.i have a club match on meadow in a couple of weeks.are casters your usual go to bait for shallow fishing on meadow? Thanks.
Good watch that Dave. With regards to prepping your meat, do you use straight from the tin or would you remove as much fat as you can the night before?
I cut the meat at home and put it onto a maggot riddle in a bucket. Then run it under a hot tap, this removes most of the fat and helps it to sink quicker. The water left in the bucket gets tipped down the storm drain in the street.
I just can't do shot on commercial rigs! I've used Stotz for probably fifteen years now - I'd rather move them back than keep dealing with shot pinging off.
Great fish wrangling. Well done Dave. Always a pleasure to watch.
