Video is good, but i felt missing detailed explaination - Here is snap from User Manual
    USAGE:
    1. Point the IR Thermometer at the object to be measured, pull and hold the trigger. When the IR thermometer is in measurement mode the LCD backlight will illuminate and the laser will be on, the measurement indicator "SCAN" icon will also be displayed on the LCD. When the trigger is released 3 audible beeps will sound and the laser will shut off; the last temperature reading will remain on the LCD. After 15 seconds the LCD backlight will turn off and after 1 minute the IR Thermometer will turn off.
    2. When the IR Thermometer is in the "ON" state (trigger is not pulled), pressing the (°C/°F |SET) button will select the desired unit of measure: °C or °F.
    3. When the IR Thermometer is in the "ON" state (trigger is not pulled), pressing and holding the (OFF) button for about 3 seconds will turn the unit off.
    4. When the IR Thermometer is in the measurement mode (trigger is pulled and held), pressing the (°C/°F |SET) button will set the reference temperature.
    5. Press the (OFF) button to select the desired temperature threshold (0.5°C/1°F | 3°C/5°F | 5.5°C/10°F) . The ▼icon indicates your current setting. To disable the threshold feature, press ▼ the button until the " OFF " mark. icon is over the “OFF” mark
    6. Once a reference temperature and temperature threshold are set the unit can be used to scan areas for changes in temperature.
While in measurement mode the backlight will be green and "NORMAL" will be displayed on the LCD if the difference between the currently scanned temperature and the reference temperature does not exceed the temperature threshold value.
The background will be blue and “LOW” will be displayed if the measured temperature is lower than the reference temperature by more than the temperature threshold value (slow beeps will also sound).
The background will be red and “HIGH” will be displayed if the measured temperature is higher than the reference temperature by more than the temperature threshold value (fast beeps will also sound).
NOTE: Shiny or polished items can give inaccurate readings. To compensate for this, cover the surface with masking tape or flat colored paint. After the tape or paint has been given sufficient time to reach the same
