I wish I could go back to the 90's for a year. It was so weird and tough but also so awsome. Everytime I watch a concert from that era I feel that indescribable 90's vibe again. I know there was a vibe, I remember, so it's not just nostalgia bc I felt it back then. I don't know if it's smartphones or something (probably not the only thing, but it certainly has an impact), or what happened to music, or to youth these last 20 years, but no matter how hard you look for, you just don't see that *vibe* anymore. Makes perfect sense. I agree 💯. We had a good mix of technology but not too much. People actually communicated and compared to how horrible it is today.... I was 26 in 99 and I'd return now if I could.

so awesome finding this, i finished matric/grade 12 in 1999 and this concert was on my 18th bday. went to the cape town concert i think was 2004. was right in the front. what an amazing concert. 2 girls behind me sat on their boyfriends shoulders and lifted their tops and one of the band members wives just had a child. the boobs were on the big screen but i was 1m away.
