Yeah I didn’t realise that! I always go up against it in shine but first time playing against royal knights so I just assumed it always did both effects 😅 my bad!
Yeah I didn’t know this was a thing I thought Marcus was just insane on it’s own! Might not have played too big a role in this match but it’s still important that it’s pointed out 😁😁
Hey hey, I have the list I used in the description now! There's some obvious choices like the chikurimon flood gate that I would increase the number of but I might make a full video on what I finally land on for changes :)
Heyy nice video. I do want to point out in min 7:29ish. I don’t think you could use a pride memory boost without a digimon. Option cards can only be played if corresponding digimon and/or tamer is on the field.
Yep looks like you're right. Have to have a Digimon or Tamer of the corresponding colour in the battle or breeding area in play. He had nothing in breeding or the battle area aside from the other option card, which does not count.
Ulforce bounces things when you play Royal Knights or blue Tamers, not when attacking. Examon unsuspends your Digimon only when an opponent's Digimon becomes suspended, which he only does on evolution or when played so the Ulforce couldn't have gone for a 2nd swing. Also Marcus should not have been giving him any memory as he doesn't control any Agumon or Greymon. A very confused Royal Knights player
He may have borrowed the deck so that I could make this video 😅 the Marcus one definitely impacted the game but probably not by a lot and he definitely had game even without bouncing the digimon or unsuspending with Marcus since Omni was on the field 🫠 shows how much I really lost by that that’s the case 😂
@@TheSqueakyMoose Oh well, at least he tried. All for the content. With a little practice he'll master it. As for DarkKnightmon all we can do is pray he gets more love in the future
@@Kronoken we’ve got a decent promo coming but yeah definitely feels like we need something to give the deck some oomph, I guess this is a hard matching since you cannot dedigivolve anything and the blockers were a nightmare 😫
Hey! Nice video and commentary, even though there were some misplays (doesn’t remove the effect you were going for). I’m trying to build a deck for my brother and he really likes darkknightmon. Could I get the deck lost? Thanks!
You’re right, he could have bounced with the onplay since darkknights effect was interruptive we just thought it was when attacking for some reason 😅 sorry about that!
So darkknights effects are interruptive so based on what I’ve read it should jump in at that point interrupting the Royal knight players effects. So wouldn’t gallant then be able to target it? This one’s a bit confusing so would love some clarity on it! Thanks for bringing this up too 😁
Well, you got absolutely smashed, but you at least have my respect for playing DarkKnightmkn. For the record, that amounts to nothing, but i still thought it was cool.
So macus only gains memory when you have a agumon or greymon in play
Yes
Yeah I didn’t realise that! I always go up against it in shine but first time playing against royal knights so I just assumed it always did both effects 😅 my bad!
I thought to gain the memory from marcus you have to have a card with agumon or greymon in name
Yes you do need a agumon or greymon on field
Yeah I didn’t know this was a thing I thought Marcus was just insane on it’s own! Might not have played too big a role in this match but it’s still important that it’s pointed out 😁😁
@@TheSqueakyMoose yeah my favourite deck is shinegreymon and I always hate it when my agumon gets deleated and my marcus doesent gain me memory
@@dardanfougere4532 yeah I’ll have to keep an eye out for that, I feel like this isn’t the only game where this may have come up for me 🤔
can you make a deck list for Darkknightmon im trying to find a way to upgrade it please and thank you

The raising area counts for having a color in play for options
As the person above me said option can also use the raising area for a color in play it just has be to somewhere even the breeding area
@@joshuamiller2450 but if you see, he didn’t have any digimons nor baby in the back to activate the 2nd pride memory boost .
7:13 is the time.

..... Can I get a CRUMB of that darkknightmon deck list? :D
Well I suppose you've been well behaved, your crumb is in the description now! 😋
1:24 Yes you do have valid targets...... Monitamon has twilight in its traits.
3:15 You forgot to grab a card back from your trash with DKX
Yeah I have not played the deck in a long while so I completely missed those misplays! Thanks for pointing them out 😁
Could I get the darkknightmon deck list
For sure mate!
I've just added that into the description now 😀

Quite funny the darknight player with the batman card sleeves
Hell yeah man, I thought it was stylish 😎
Your opponent didnt use Ultforce right during that first game at all, >_>
Yeah just had a look at it, not sure why we thought it was when attacking for his effect but even without bouncing those mons I was done for 🫠💀
2:45 why dont return to hand the darknightmon?
We didn’t realise Ulforce sees itself for its effect to proc 😩
Time to up those chikurimon 👀
Yep! Seems way more relevant during this set than chuumon 😅

Thanks man! Yeah I just need to read cards properly before I talk about them lol
That decklist is in the description now! 😁😁
I’m so confused with this royal knight player. How was ulforce attacking bouncing something back to your hand?
The ulforce would activate the effect before the swing technically so it was just him choosing which one
He did it twice. It was played incorrectly the entire time.
Ulforce bounce effect would only activate when he's played not when attacking
You’re right, he could have bounced with the onplay since darkknights effect was interruptive we just thought it was when attacking for some reason 😅 sorry about that!
I was gonna say ulforce would trigger the bounce affect when playing himself so i was confused how he did it twice
This is more confusing than Yu-Gi-Oh, especially with the mistakes i see mentioned in the comment section.
Cool editing and duel tho.
Yeah royal knights playing out 7 digimon all with their own effects all at once makes this hard to track lol 😂
Just run for Sourai, duh! You've got blue sources
/j
Bro it’s honestly not that bad an idea 👀👀
@TheSqueakyMoose can't wait to see the rematch with this unheard of new tech haha!
Also, all turn player effects have to resolve first outside of interrupted effects. Gallant in game 2 would not have a target to pop on play.
So darkknights effects are interruptive so based on what I’ve read it should jump in at that point interrupting the Royal knight players effects. So wouldn’t gallant then be able to target it? This one’s a bit confusing so would love some clarity on it! Thanks for bringing this up too 😁

I think with a bit of tweaking it could do a lot better in this matchup, Darkknight just takes some time to perfect 👌
2:48 the darkknight is supposed to go bye bye via the ulforce once per turn effect.
Does it see itself to be able to bounce a digimon ??? That makes the card a lot better if it does 😨
@@TheSqueakyMoose yes it does, its kinda crazy it make the card so good
