The city needed it even moreso then they needed the 04 team 4. The 04 tesm played 500 bsll for a 100 days and was mind blowingly frustrating given the talent and expectations 5. If the 2007 sox were down 1-0 in the 6th inning they were gonna lose 6. The 2018 team just steamrolled everyone

To be down 0-3 in the pennant against the Yanks then go lobstering n a 8-0 run to beat em in NY game seven then sweep The cards man loved it. The three other banners wouldn't of been possible without that team it gave em confidence to be a top team and win again three years later.
